He's not suppose to be a General in the 1st place. But, that is the result of 'man know man' army recruitment. Yorubas and fear fear. 12 Likes 1 Share |

Qelvin: Yet some lunatics still believe tribal bigotry in Nigeria is just a nairaland thing, when a journalist can't be professional enough to report the news, without unnecessary bigoted sensationalism. Like I always say, the pretentious ones who act holier than thou are the worst. Hence I prefer the ones who are real about how they feel about other tribes. 4 Likes |

Why would you join the army if the sounds of shelling, bombs, and gun fires scare the living day light out of you |

You just called someone a stark illiterate, but one can't help but wonder if you were able to read the following: "... a source said: “Commanders of troops are supposed to lead soldiers from the frontline but what we discovered is that most of the commanders operate and give orders from the rear." Or is it a comprehension problem? Talk about one finger pointing at another when 3 are pointing right back at you! shymexx: 16 Likes |

Remarkable: Another primeval stark illiterate with vacuous illiterate-speak, you blinkered weasel. So, the General of the high command of the division, is meant to lead at the frontline, or the commanders of the different battalions of the troops, who should be Lt Colonels? How about cite anywhere in the article where anything was alluded to the General being on the frontline? It is one thing to be able to read, it is another to have comprehension skills. A division includes many front lines, as cited in the article. And he was accused of poor overall leadership as the head of the division, not those on the front line, you stark illiterate. 9 Likes |

... "they lead from the rear indeed.... speak for Yoruba "Generals" alone... no doubt Adekunli you mentioned was "leading from the rear" when he gave three quarters of his men to Biafran men before he fled half-naked on foot all the way from Igboland to Port Harcourt! Please no real soldiers or commanders are to "lead from their rear"... I mean from "the rear" lol... shymexx: 13 Likes |

Remarkable: Stark illiterate, stop going on a tangent. This isn't about Biafra. If you want to discuss that, create a new thread. Now, go back to the article and read all the communities (more than five of them) under the high command of the alleged General. And they all represent different front lines, with battalions. So, the commanders in question, who ran into the bushes are going to be Lt Colonels - under the high command. That is a little education about military formations to you, vacuous weasel. Yes, the General should be court-martialled, for the performance of the troops. But the title is misleading. Now run along! 8 Likes |

If Nigeria is later overrun by insurgents, don't blame government, blame journalists for poor journalism. Too much of tribal hatred and unnecessary publicity for boko Haram and non sense reporting. You refused to mention the name of the so called general but his tribe which shows clear bigotry. I am very sure that journalist that wrote that story will be member of nl e warriors. Useless bigot. By the way, his name is Kingsley Omonobi. All his reports always show bigotry. I know him. 5 Likes |

This not the first case of cowardice and negligence exhibited by SW Ogundipe Awo Obj Diya etc exhibited this trait when they were most needed To be truthful to you I will rather go to war with 1000 Igbos or Arewas than go to war with 100 000 yorubas 23 Likes |
