Dear All,

Top of the day to you.

My spouse had recently applied for Canadian student visa. Myself and our two children are planning to submit our own application as dependents. Equally to be included as dependent is a 22 years old distance relative who recently completed her national diploma course. She is to assist in taking care of the two kids while my spouse is vigorously pursuing her studies while in Canada. On my own part, I am to remain in Nigeria to continue with my paid employment job and other sundry businesses. Occasionally therefore, I will need to visit the family during the duration of my spouse’s studies.

I am worried however if the embassy will consider an application where a distant relative is included. Better still, I will appreciate if the forum can advise on how best to go ahead with such as application.

Looking forward to read all your educating guidance.

Regards,
Leaderdeji

Wont that be very late to apply for TRV

It is very late, considering the fact that I have to apply to Quebec before the regular TRV. I intend deferring though, but let me get the admission first...

No!!! Please don't do this, only your passport data page should be in that section

One file will be allowed per document type. For example, if you are asked to provide multiple pages of your passport, you must scan and save all pages as one file.

Document: Passport or travel document
You must provide a clear, legible copy of your valid passport or travel document.
If using your passport, include a copy of
the page that shows your birth date, country of origin, etc.
any pages with stamps, visas or markings
Your travel document must show proof of status (citizenship or residency), as well as photo identification. Your travel document must be issued by a government and include your name, photo, date of birth, document number, and the issue and expiry dates, if applicable.  A travel document is used only by individuals who cannot obtain a passport.

Nice course, what course did you do for your 1st degree? was your transcript requested for or just your first degree certificate and O-Level result?

I used apply alberta...it was requested for...I've always had scanned copies of all my transcripts both undergrad and pg...so I just scanned all plus my neco showing my English proficiency...first degree was comp sci...pg was environmental science

it needs to be all scanned in a single file specifically under upload passport/ travel docs

... A 22yr old is an Adult... she has to apply separately...besides she is not your daughter... rethink that Sir...

The only thing they were concerned about was the English proficiency after submitting all my scanned copies to them...then they requested for scratch card to view my neco or waec...sent it to Olivia knight...it didn't even take up to 3 weeks before they gave me admission
