What baffles me is why some of these boko members that were captured alive are arrested and locked up in prison. What for? Mbok, we don't have that kind of space in Nigerian prisons but we do have enough land to bury terrorists. Shoot them all at sight and without mercy. KILL 'EM ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!! That's an order!

Still yet to see any concrete proof of the terrorists who were 'killed'

Lets be prayerful, prayer is the answer, with the way things are going prayer is the answer. Either the government is not giving the military enough support or our military are not strategic.
For close to 2weeks or more bokoharam took over Gulak,Michika, baza and would have captured Uba, MalarabaMubi and Mubi if not for the timely bombing of the bridge that linked Baza to Uba area by our soldiers.

In their recent offencive, i thought they would have started with air strike before ground troupe, surprisingly they attacked on foot without air support and in battled that followed they killed 200bokoharam which resulted in fierce come back by the insurgents and as story may have it now they succeded in seizing 7 APC from army killed many soldiers while some are missing in the surrounding bushes, the group has pursued our soldiers to Vimtim the home of Alex Bade and are gradually advancing to Mubi from that direction, even soldiers from that areas ran into Mubi and has caused a great panic in Mubi.
If noting is done by me and you , this BH boys may enter Mubi before the end of Today and if that happens, Adamawa is gone.

Prayer is the answer.

Funny thing is SR is always right and the nigerian media is always wrong when it comes to info about boko haram
SR claimed 70 Nigerian soldiers were killed today. The Nigerian Army will drop stupid lies like the one OP is peddling for the next 2 weeks before they finally admit their soldiers were killed today. The same sequence!
Nigerians are so guilible!
Are you a Nigeria? If the Nigerian Army sustain heavy causality in the process of fighting our battle should you not encourage them to continue fighting? Any media that report to favour the enemy is not to be allowed to publish any news. The news of own causality is a pride to show that the Army is in pine of fire saving all your scary heart with their own blood while you are here counting the losses and making fun of the your own gallant soldiers. That is if you are a Nigerian.

Heavy fighting between Nigerian troops and Boko Haram terrorists ensued yesterday in Adamawa State as soldiers backed from the air by Nigerian Airforce attack helicopters launched an attack to retake territories in the possession of Boko Haram.
In the ensuing battle that continued into the night, Vanguard gathered that about 400 Boko Haram terrorist had been killed while there were casualties on the part of the Nigerian soldiers.
Military sources in Adamawa state told Vanguard that the onslaught to retake the towns of Bazza, Michika and Madagali was launched from the town of Vimtim, the hometown of the Chief of Defence Staff, Air Chief Marshal Alex Badeh and that the General Officer Commanding 3 division of the Army, Major General Mohammed Zaruwa was coordinating the onslaught
Said the source, “I can assure you that we are advancing successfully. We have dealt a heavy blow on the terrorists. They didn’t expect what they are seeing. Our armoured tanks are blasting and they are running for their lives. The airforce is providing air cover and hitting them also.
“I cannot give you a categorical answer regarding casualties but so far about 400 of the terrorists have been killed. We have casualties among our soldiers also but the propaganda circulating that 70 of our men were killed is wishful thinking”.
“From reports on the ongoing battle, we may have lost a few soldiers but it cannot be confirmed because usually, they may have been injured and are holed up somewhere for first aid treatment” the source said.
Contacted on the development, Director of Defence Information, Major General Chris Olukolade confirmed the fighting but stated he cannot give casualty figures or full details as operatives on ground were yet to furnish him with the situation report. He said he would give details when the operation is concluded.
Online media reports had indicated that during the fight at least 70 soldiers were killed in a fierce battle between insurgents and Nigerian troops and pointed out that the fighting was for control of the towns of Bazza and Vimtim in Adamawa State, a claim denied by the military source.
The source further debunked claims that Boko Haram used helicopters to fight back noting that the Nigerian airforce helicopters may have been mistaken for that.
An eye witness told newsmen that the insurgents at a point on Sunday might re-grouped at the Federal Government College, (Technical) in Michika before they were dislodged and chased away.
According to him, “the army came in on Sallah day and since then fierce fighting has been on. But, as you can see the insurgents are moving away and the military are following them”.
“The insurgents who were in their thousands came through Uba and attacked the Nigeria troops. “The gallant Nigerians soldiers were attacked from the rear by the militants but the military men engaged them in fierce battle over five hours “.
It will be recalled that on the 7th of September, 2014 the Boko Haram insurgents overran Michika, Bazza, Madagali and other border towns between Adamawa and Borno State during which the son of the former Nigeria President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, a Lieutenant Colonel, Olugbenga Obasanjo an Engineer in the Nigeria Army was shot and wounded.
During the takeover of Madagali and Michika, the insurgents also attempted to overran Vimtim, the hometown of the Chief of Defence staff, Air Chief Marshall Alex Badeh.

To hell with your fake call for prayers, you are a Boko Haram apologist. 70 soldiers died because u and Sahara reporters went there to count? U people just keep helping Boko Haram spread false news and give them an edge over our gallant army. Some media houses already reported that Nigerian airforce helicopters led in the attack, including several tanks, over 400 militants killed and you are here claiming that 7 APCs have been captured by the militants
God pass una!

God bless our brave soldiers, the political controllers of our revenue should utilise more money on security and less on their lazy selves.

Where are our fighter jets?

The security of our nation is more important than having a corrupt house of reps,we should dissolve our house of reps and utilise only our senate house-Nigeria can not afford to be spending money on lazy selfish politicians

Every Nigeria must be vigilant-attack and kill any terrorists around you-the military are doing their best on the war front-its up to us to support men of integrity into leadership positions not mediocres and money hungry fools otherwise we will not see value.

They forcefully conscript young men into their group that's why they'll always have a great number of fighters. What do you think happens to those they kidnapped?

There is nothing wrong in reporting the deaths of our gallant soldiers. CNN reports the news of American soldiers killed in iraq and Afghanistan while bbc usually report the news of British soldiers killed. Its a way of informing the nation and honoring the dead soldiers so people can remember them and not brand them as unknown soldiers. however the media should support the army by encouraging them just like cnn and bbc support their army.

Mr man who's said there was no retreat in their activities? Did u hear of any bombing since? Ever on independence day, which they always make their awareness know to the world
