Psychedelia:

And you were able to arrive at this conclusion after viewing her for just 7 days?
Even the Esther I admire is nowhere in my 'trust-o-meter', just like Dillish was nowhere in my 'trust-o-meter' even after almost 3 months of her friendship with Melvin. And close to the end of the show, I was proven right.
Approach the game with an open mind and exercise caution whenever you feel like speaking for any of these housemates, because the human mind is not governed by mathematical laws and constants.
It takes almost an eternity for me to trust; and my instincts have never failed me there yet.
she'll eventually backstab. She's a user hence her strategy to upset the weakest country this year- Rwanda by putting up their housemates and hang around the reps of the perceived strongest, she has a long term plan, the babe is 29 and single for a reason, she's smarter than she looks, but I'm talking presently, her fangs won't be out on Lillian just yet

Re: Big Brother Africa 'hotshots' Official Thread by Ksslib(m): 12:49pm On Oct 13, 2014
Why did IK ask Luis that question in the first place?

Tayo wants to talk to Biggie and explain that he is not desperate cos he feels africa asked the question through IK.

He said the issue disturbs him cos now hes kinda afraid of being himself. erm bros, shey no be you dey always shout I dont give a fffuck.. I dont give a ffffuck oooo. grin

Now Lillian really impressed me here. She advised him to not talk to biggie about it cos its just Lui's opinion and if IK had asked her, she would have mentioned someone too. That he shouldn't worry cos africa knows hes real and Lui's answer only proved him being a threat.

I think it's time I wade in..

Nas said "when you're on top, there's envy..."

Truth is, Naija has influence in BBA (but we're over rating it), and in many things, Naija is on top. Now this is the bane of the success of our present and future Naija reps. I said this because, this influence we have, has brought out the arrogance in us, Nigerians, and it's our downfall.

For example, Nigeria is king of entertainment industry in Africa, from movies, to music etc. I'm not bragging just trying to point something out. A lady on this thread from S.A once said how she knows about Naija celebrities/musicians but barely know of other countries' celebs. This one of the perks Naija has. That's why some people will love to tap into Nigerian entertainment honey, e.g; Bassey. Even DJ Xclusive is the most accepted and most well-known amongst all DJs that's graces BBA.

Now, this reality have gotten us "haters" from all nook and cranny, which is not unusual, but we NIGERIANS caused it partially, if not fully. It's not UNUSUAL cos when you are on top, people go jealous you. I jealoused Barca and rejoiced when Bayern Munich thrashed them. Back to the topic, after 3 Nigerians won BBA successively, other countries got jealous and decided that Naija reps won't win it again. To prove a point, last year, when Beverly and Melvin were evicted on the final day, some S.Ans on this thread, notably N*adia, said something like: "I am not fan of BBA, but thank God the Nigerians are out, now anybody can win it and I won't mind."

Now this is the jealousy I'm talking about but we brought it on ourselves somehow. In the bid to hype our reps, we oozed arrogant vibes. We tried to rub it in the face of other countries, about our previous BBA trophies. This irked them plus jealousy and since then, they've been wishing us bad. How did we show arrogant vibes? I'll give you the same example I gave to Safarigirl when I addressed her last year. Last year, I was on FB when I saw a comment from a Nigerian which went like this (not exact same words); "carry go Melvin.. Nothing do you. Una go hate tire. BBA na our birthright. We go dey win dey go. Melvin bring back the money. Haters can't stop us.." What followed was series of comments like "just imagine. Very typical arrogant Nigerians. Since it's your birthright, come and win it this year, then."

Now, that idiotic Melvin fan and his ilk, thought they're upping Melvin's game, but the truth is that, they were not. Instead it fuelled the already existing hate for Nigerians in people. Most of those comments where from SADC FBookers. And if Melvin lost SADC countries, he's already a goner because Elikem would drag WA's vote with him!! Our arrogance spoilt Melvin's game, forget he's laid back/dull nature. People loved Melvin, even said he didn't behave like a Nigerian, but their vows to vote him out made him loose. When Melvin lost, people were shocked.

Nigerian influence is mostly in two form only:

1. During tie-breaking in votes, our population as the most populous African country helps, ask Ricco.

2. Our hypes..Nigerians sabi make mouth and we can hype for Africa. Our hype elevated Dillish and she won with OTHER COUNTRIES VOTES NOT OURS!!

I keep telling people, Melvin lost MOSTLY cos he didn't come out for eviction ( he came out just once) much, so we couldn't hype him as much as Dillish. Dillish came out for eviction up to 4 times, and in those times, Nigerians carried her matter for head like say na headache. We even chose her over Maria and Beverly (this thought kills me angry )no thanks to the idiotic, pathetic males and OLD ladies fantasising about Dillish dumping Stephen for Melvin. So when the scales fell off their eyes, Dillish was already popular and not even Cleo from SADC could stop her. Melvin was just a pawn in the game!!

But saying our influence in actual votes ( not tie breaker) will save a HM, is pure fallacy. We're but ONE vote!!

That said, Tayo is real, but moderation is the key. He's picking up too many enemies. Uti was wiser when he came back the second time and chose his opponents wisely and won. Tayo is being over real and fighting everybody, not good in my books. Elikem was real and would've been a worthy winner if not for the fact that Africa voted on alliance, plus the people he kicked out influenced their region to vote others but him. That's why I'll never vote on BBA again. People vote on vengance, beauty, country alliance, instead of entertainers and REALITY acts. That Trezagah was voted over Mira shows BBA is useless. Until regional voting is abolished, borerites like Keegan, Wendull, Dillish will continue to win. If Trezagah wins this season, I won't be surprised.

Samantha mentioned about her being married and divorced . Tayo was surprised. She said she told the guy that they should be together for 5years first before having kids. she ll only have kids if he takes care of her well cos someone who cant care wont be able to cater for kids.

Tayo was like wow! Nigerian men wont take that. Ata wewe was lying her head jejely on his laps. Tayo----- You wont know esther has been married before cos shes like the smallest in the house. like my niece.

Ata wewe said somethings about her marriage and how people judged her. How they didnt know shiit about her but kept hurling harsh words at her. Na for this juncture, she begin cry seriously. How people on Facebook kept insulting and hurting her, but she didnt reply.

The crying increased and Tayo was consoling her. Sabina was trying to console her too.

And Nepa did thier worst.

That move by IK was an expo to Tayo and it hit Tayo but the things the girls are tellling him, will make him revert to the rude aggresive Tayo. This today's Tayo is good to go and can win Africa's heart.

This Today's Tayo is funny, fun and bright but not rude and excessively loud. Samantha and others must not make him revert to the obnoxious one.

Okay. But if I really were in her position, I'd try to win the hearts of those 'smaller' countries like Rwanda, Mozambique, Uganda etc, because their bloc votes would be easier to lock down as opposed to countries like Nigeria with a vast population, highly opinionated people and an often divided voting pattern. Maybe it's just me.

Oh, and by the way... Samantha actually is a divorcee.
Yeah, I know many would be shocked. She was married to a white man for 3 years, but they divorced recently. She's said it herself that she's only ever dated one black guy too. Her preference is white men.
Yeah, I ran a few background checks...

SENSE!!!!!
safarigirl:
It has come to my realisation that a LOT of people just watch Big Brother Africa for the fun of it. They don't realise what the show is really about....rather they think it's some pissing contest.

I've been an avid watcher of the show from season 1, never missed a season and so I can say that contrary to what some of these beginners think, Big Brother is a REALITY show. It's not like The Bachelor where people come for love, it's not X factor where people do disgusting stuff for money.

Big Brother Africa is a reality show that puts 28 people inside a house, people with different characters, from different backgrounds with different stories in life and asks them to live together.

Now, I don't know if some of you have ever lives in a hostel with just 3 room mates, but trust me that's a good example and not everyone will get along in that room.

It is therefore puzzling why people come here to run down Tayo as if people like him do not exist in this world. Have you not come across short-tempered people before? Is that not REALITY? I'm short-tempered, I lash out at people, i'm arrogant, don't I exist? If I went into the house should u change to please Africa thereby defeating the purpose of REALITY?

Some people want Tayo to be like Melvin, they forget they grew up differently. Melvin doesn't know what LIFE is, he doesn't understand suffering, he has no stories of pain or abuse, he's a proper ajebo boy. Tayo on the other hand is a ghetto child, been hustling since he could walk. He was a child hawker.

Some privileged people might not understand the travails of a child hawker, but these people get bullied everyday, they are attacked by bigger andd older people so early on in life they learn to attack when attacked. It comes as second nature to them, they just can't help it.

So how do you all expect Tayo to be a nice, sweet, caring boy? Yes, he speaks bluntly because he grew up with people not mincing words, nobody get time to open teeth with you on the streets, should he then be different from who he naturally is? Is that what you want to watch? A FAKE person that defeats the idea behind the show?

I know some people will never understand Tayo, they will never like him, and really that's their choice. But don't you judge him for who he is, behind all his phucked-upness is a good guy who loves as hard as he hates.

A respectable young man who has enough respect and consideration for his 9 month old pregnant girlfriend at home to not phucck with any female in the house despite the many options in ground. That's a loyal guy, that's a faithful guy. That's a good friend, a great friend who will tell you to your face that you phuckd up if you did, not one who will hide the truth from you and go tell someone else.

Anyone attacking Tayo should search within, there's a little of Tayo in each of us, or maybe some of you are so fake that you like seeing fake people.

In small pepper's words "Better for people to hate you for who you are than love you for who you're not"

#epistles have arrived
