Infact am speechless, DJDOLA is a very good friend of mine here on nld,even the song he sent to me is my ringtone at the moment. How come am just seeing this? Better late than never anyway. No worries, but I haven't read the whole thread either.

I think Olu4life has got the doctor's number, so he should be able to give it to you so you can ask the relevant questions. Someone did touch on doctor-patient confidentiality, but I don't know how that would work / apply in this situation as DJDOLA is everyone's concern here. Carcata's very much on point with updates, but I don't know what needs to be done for the doctor to give you the relevant information.

Babyosisi's also touched on some questions she would have asked as a medic herself, so I'm thinking maybe you two can discuss what needs to be asked, and when? Whatever happens, we all need to be sure that the doctor knows exactly what needs to be done, but more importantly, if DJDOLA's case is within his capabilities and if he has the facilities and staff to do the job.

The OP discharged himself from LUTH when he ran out of funds, came to NL to seek for N25k to go back to LUTH for further tests, instead got a lot of horror stories about LUTH, was told UCH and LASUTH are better...but the people in charge of imaging such as Radiographers, etc, have been on strike over two weeks meaning he would not be able to do scans, blood tests, etc...he asked over 20 times for referral elsewhere...got no cogent response because everyone was still brainstorming...


Reddington Hospital's name came up...but calls of "he shouldn't be at home/he should be on a ventilator/no hospital in Naija can handle this case/he has to travel to India tonight" drowned out this option...in the end DJDOLA out of fear opted for this Clinic at Eruwa...
