Hi all.
I am new here. Pls is anybody applying under NOC 3012.

I want to apply under 2 NOC can i use photocopy of my IELTS

Tnks
You can't use photocopy of IELTS, u have to apply for another TRF from Bitish Council by showing evidence of ur applications. Why not make up ur mind on one NOC, chose the one ur reference letter is more aligned to or even a colder NOC.
Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by zeelo2014: 2:03pm On Nov 12, 2014
Advice to fresh applicants., stay off 2173 software developers, go for another NOC related to ur job.
Ask questions whenever u're in doubt. Take ur time in filling ur forms no room for errors.
Wish everyone a smooth ride.

Zeeloo you are on point. b4canada make up your mind on the one your reference will align to. Because if you do that your years of experience might contradict each other. Pls be careful

Hi Everyone
I got my IELTS result and i was quite disappointed, i needed 21point. However i got Listening 7, Speaking 7.5, reading 8.5, writing 6. which resulted to 20. i am thinking of contesting it because i believe i deserve more esp. in W (particularly i used the Ryan higgins) and i will include L and S just in case. My ICAS assessment is due in January so i am not particular about time.
what are my chances of getting an improved mark?
or should i just tell my wife to sit for the IELTS?

Hello everyone,
This is my first time to leave a message here. Nice to meet you all!

I have just submitted the application under the NOC 1113. I have the following questions and hope you can help to give me some ideas:

1. I have been tracking the cap number of the 50 NOC but 1113 remains "-" the whole time. Do you know if "-" means no case has been approved under NOC 1113 so far? I have started to wonder if CIC has intentionally turned down all the applications under NOC 1113 that's why its status remains "-" the whole time? I'm really worried as this is the only NOC code that I can apply given my working experience.

2. Anyone here has also applied for NOC 1113? If yes, can you please share what kind of feedback you have received from the CIC so far or if your case(s) has/have been already approved? Much appreciate!

3. Regarding the cap number among the 50 NOC codes, do all the numbers (no matter the total overall cap and the breakdown for each NOC codes) stand for the number of applications RECEIVED or APPROVED?

Thank you very much!!

I used to think it indicates the number of PER recipients for each NOC but from a reply someone got from CIC it indicates the number of people that have passed the completeness check and ready for charging and is estimated to be about 50+days behind. whenever I come across that post I'll share it here.

chatterly and zeelo2014: many thanks for your quick reply to my previous post!!

On a separate note, can anyone please advise what will be the next procedures after CIC has received my application? (I know the biggest part of it is waiting....) Will CIC send me a notification just to confirm that they have already received my application? I cannot find much information on CIC website in this matter explaining how they will proceed if they don't return your application. Thank you!

I wish I could have spent more time to read through the discussion on Nairaland.com before I submitted my application as I found it very useful. Is there any other forum that you will also check for useful advice and updates of FSW application?

Thank you again!

@Aceoak...thanks for confirming about the resumption of cad draft, why i suggested you go was because i called and they said they have started and another person said he called and they said no they have not.But now you have at least cleared the air by visiting there in person. So Forumites i will advise a DD mode better than a CC but whichever one your heart agrees on please don't waste time..wish all of us Goodluck.

i concur with ferdimako..let your wife do the IELTS..it is easier for her to score the minimum than you to hit the 21points that you seek for not that you cant but probable...you wife?she can hit the additional 5points with little or less effort...she can register now and pick a date within the January or if Dec is stil available...going for remarking to me is time consuming and the outcome may not come out better at time it does ..all is still probable.Learn from my experience..i did IELTS twice hoping to hit the desired point and both came out just the same points again..i took advise from people like ferdinmako, solomonwise and damkollins and let my wife take the test and she hit more than me sef..which was what i would have done without rewriting twice.all what you need is not who brought the desired points but that you have it.Best of Luck

are you saying both husbands and wife can add both of their IELTS to give them a larger score? I thought IELTS is just an individual test? Senior forumites, pls, expantiate.

Hi House,

Please do I submit photocopies of my account statement or submit original as issued by the bank?
Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by Nobody: 1:18pm On Nov 13, 2014
The highlighted part of the checklist is giving me a little headache here. Pls gurus help interpret it with respect to my case.

Got my DD from gtb in sept. . however due to the delay in my ECA , I will be submitting my application later this month. That means my DD is more than 30days old compared to the " not more than 30days old......" Clause on the checklist. Should I return the old DD for another one or I can still use it later this month?

Nothing to expatiate...a spouse can contribute 5points if they score no band less than 5. The actual bands are Writing:4.0, Reading:3.5, Speaking:4.0 & Listening: 4.5! It must be the GT version! Not more than two years old!

Most drafts are valid for six months
Confirm from your bank

Hi everyone!

Attention senior, oga Solomon and Kollins.

Hubby applied under NOC 1112, application received date is July 15th. According to the David Cohen Canadavisa forum as at yesterday we realized July 17th were already receiving PER. And we still hadn't gotten ours. We took the initiative to call this afternoon. The idea wasn't to ask for application status though because they would never give that over the phone at this stage. We just nice and politely asked for our UCI number. After confirming certain details the operator gave us. We used the number to check online and our status is showing 'in progress'. That's great news right? I think it means PER has been sent and lost in transit or on its way. Either way, our application is on track. Nothing to worry about right?

Your 2 cents please

feel free to contest it, its just N15,000. i did the same with my writing test, where i was scored 5.5 but after the remark, i was scored 6.5. so if you feel you should have a better score in your writing, you are the only one that knows how well you wrote, go ahead and contest it. it takes two months though to get a report.
my thought also.

Congrats .
Either it has been sent to your spam mails and you mistakenly delete it........or its still been sent.
Meanwhile ,did it indicate 15th July as received date?
Whichever way...you're in already.
Meanwhile, you can send a mail to CIC to ask for updates regarding your application .
Response may take minimum of one month, just send it sha.
Once again,Congrats .
Cheers
