imanifaith45: What is your NOC presently and which NOC are you planning to switch to.My advise is that you go online and search for FSWP global spreadsheet. This is a spreadsheet of global applicants collated through canadavisa.com. From there you can have an idea of number of people who have appliced to a particular NOC till date. As this spreadsheet is just a reference and it does not represent exact figures of applicant, hence to estimate number of applicants....multiply the figure on the apresdsheet by 2 to give you a conservative estimate. GOod luck. |

scrollmeout: I will just write in main duty column that " ssee attached sheet for experience less than one year."do not tick anything oo....it might amount to false declaration.complete the from-to section and add a sheet for comprehensive info. Good luck. |

HenryIX: Since you are not married, complete the form for yourself, father, mother kids (if any), brothers and sisters.....this is very important. Make sure that the info provided are correct because this will be in CIC database and will be revisited when any of your sibling is planning to visit u in future. Good luck. |

gfn:No, u have to go there yourself. I'm not sure if u can pick ur wife's own , but u can give it a try by going along with her passport and photocopy of marriage cert just to prove that u're the husband. |

He can actually collect for his wife. All he need is an authorization letter and her international passport bio data page. |

I heard that if you have an arranged job you don't need to show the 11k settlement fund. Please how can I get an arranged job? |
Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by Nobody: 9:08am On Nov 16, 2014 |
lahify:It would be easier to arrange that amount than a job! Or go Oz way...subclass189 does not require any settlement fund. 2 Likes |

Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by Nobody: 2:43pm On Nov 16, 2014 |
lahify:Just read up! It is easier to get the settlement fund and proceed than hoping to arrange a job. It is difficult to do while outside Canada esp we in this part of the world. If u don't think u can ever get that amount, u can check Australia's version of fswp and that is subclass189. |

This gives an 0verall ielts band of 6.5. Will this result fly for FSW programme as a principal applicant? With this, his total point is 18. |

Hello house, I have submitted my application since last week of October, but I think I might have made a mistake on form IMM5406 (Additional Family Information). I need to understand if I am supposed to be the applicant in the form my spouse filled or she will be the applicant while I am spouse. Also since I have submitted, what options do I have in getting this corrected (I mean is there a way I can send the corrected form to Sydney) or do I have to wait till it is returned. |

laamilaaka: This is not just enough to calculate if you meet your minimum score points necessary to scale the hurdle. You need to go further by providing details such as 1. Age 2. Years of Work Experience 3.Educational qualification (as equivalent to a Canadian qualification) 4.If accompanying spouse has met the minimum language threshold. 5.If there is a relative in Canada Any advice given without the above taken into cognisance will amount to shooting a target in the dark (and you know what that means). |
Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by solomonwis(m): 7:09pm On Nov 16, 2014 |
bakinswo: Both you(the PA) and your spouse are supposed to fill a form each, with each person ticking applicant box (Your spouse ticks applicant in her own form even though she's not the PA and you do likewise as the PA). Even though this was an error (and this has been found to be a common error),it has not formed the basis for outright rejection,so relax and remain positive! |

akanni: There's nothing to watch out for other than to read through the instructions on www.cic.gc.ca and relate with people with similar experience here by reading through the thread. If you have been admitted to Canada for a period of more than 12 months, your visa office will be CPC-Ottawa (and not Accra). |

solomonwis:thanks Solwise, you hit the nail on the head with the CPC-Ottawa part, appreciate. |
