I pity Madrid the most! Because they'll be more motivated to win Madrid in their copa de rel match, because its almost obvious they won't win la liga!
Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by homesteady(m): 9:39am On Dec 15, 2014
Stats from UCL group stage!

283 - Toni Kroos made the most successful passes
in the opposition half, with the Real Madrid man
notching five more than Lionel Messi’s 278

22 - Lionel Messi created more chances for team-
mates than anyone else. The Barcelona star's total
of 22 was three more than Cesc Fabregas.
Messi is our striker and our midfielder!
Its so quite surprising that Barcelona can't boast of the best midfield in the world again!

When will we change our one-dimensional and highly-predictable approach to games? angry
A parked bus is very effective against Barca. Our play nowadays is so narrow, with all the talented players we have. It doesn't take much for us to be pegged back. embarassed

It can be really painful watching the team sometimes.
God bless you jare... I wanted to respond to his comment before seeing yours. The problem is with us.

Lol....
Here is my take:
If Lucho doesn't know how to unlock park the bus teams, why dafuq is he still our coach? Is that not our major problem?
Like I said,The coach is just relying on luck....He is totally clueless, and once again he has made the team overly reliant on Messi!
On my own take,we lost the game cuz Neymar didn't play.. This is a Getafe we won 2-5 last season without Neymar,Messi,Xavi and Iniesta.....
Seriously, this was my take too. If he had played, obviously things would have been different.

What are you not trying to say? Let it out already

Martino is clearly better; it's obvious. The valencia victory had luck clearly written all over it, even the almeria game also. There's always a limit to how far luck can push a team
I ain't saying this because things have been kinda not-so-smooth with Lucho. But, like I stated last season, I never have anything against Martino. Martino did great with the team and things went bad when he had to revert to the old system after the board, media, players and fans alike asked for his head for tinkering the team's way of playing. Although, he had other salient things he ought to learn, but in all even he wasn't as bad as this. We only lost 2 big matches last season (against the 2 Madrid sides) after besting Real home&away in the league.

Seriously, I am yet to comprehend what Lucho is doing. Abeg, anybody fit explain Lucho work for Barca to me?

Fifa only listen when Madrid do the
talking

As the two sodden sets of
players trudged off the
waterlogged field after
Saturday’s second Club
World Cup quarter-final in
Rabat, alarm bells were already ringing. Six hours
of incessant rain and two matches in quick
succession had turned an already churned-up
surface into a veritable mudbath.
There was clearly no way it would be in any state
to host another match on Tuesday, but then it
was never really fit for the second game on
Saturday either. There was, though, one crucial
detail that differed between the two scenarios.
On Saturday it was only Cruz Azul and Western
Sydney Wanderers being affected.
It didn’t matter to FIFA that it was sending out
two sides to re-enact a game of water polo rather
than play football. Who are those tiny clubs with
their instantly forgettable players to doubt the
mighty governing body’s motives?
But Real Madrid are different.
They have Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale, James
Rodriguez and Iker Casillas. FIFA is willing to bend
over backwards for them, and once word spread
from Spain that Madrid were in touch with the
governing body regarding a switch it was no
surprise that confirmation soon followed.
While it is the sensible decision to have moved
Tuesday’s semi-final between Madrid and Cruz
Azul to Marrakech, it came 24 hours too late for
Tony Popovic’s Asian champions.
"You can’t control nature: when it rains, it rains.
But if the pitch had been up to standard it
wouldn’t have mattered," the Australian coach
complained immediately after his side’s 3-1 loss.
And Popovic was exactly right. Even in
Wednesday’s opener, under a cloudless sky after
days of bright sunshine, the ball ran true only a
small percentage of the time
The pitch had not been correctly prepared for a
major tournament, during which four games
would be played in six days, despite the three
years’ notice Moroccan officials were given of their
hosting the competition. The customary pre-match
training sessions were all moved away from the
stadium, but that was never going to be enough.
Popovic and Azul coach Luis Fernando Tena both
expressed concern over the conditions before their
head-to-head with the rain pouring down, but
nobody paid any attention. It was only when Real
Madrid piped up that FIFA listened. That should
never be the way.
It was clear to everyone that there was no way
Ronaldo would be expected to attempt to play on
that surface, especially not with further storms on
the way.
But why are Labinot Haliti or Hugo Pavone, Akram
Djahnit or Tim Payne any different to Ronaldo?
Each one of them has the same right as the
Portuguese star to be presented with the best
possible conditions in which to ply their trade,
especially when this is meant to be the pinnacle
of world club football.
Semi-finalists Auckland City were even forced to
check out of their Rabat hotel at the unusually
early time of 9am on Sunday in order to give staff
extra time to prepare the red carpet for Madrid’s
arrival more than eight hours later.
Ronaldo | He and Madrid are not entitled to
special treatment
Perhaps the New Zealand football federation
should ask that FIFA’s bigwigs be treated with
similar disdain when they arrive to oversee the
Under-20 World Cup in the south pacific next
June?
Ronaldo might well be the best player in the world
and Madrid the greatest club on the planet, but
they have no more right to a flat, green surface
and comfortable surroundings than anybody else.
If the Rabat pitch was not good enough for Real
Madrid, then neither was it good enough for the
five teams that had already been sent out onto it.
Real are blameless here - they have every right to
raise their concerns, but smaller teams should
also command FIFA's ear.
Football is meant to be played on a level playing
field, yet in more than one sense that has been
proven not to be the case over the past week.
FIFA has spent the last decade trying to promote
the Club World Cup as the best of the best.
Yet it leaves itself with impossibly short
turnarounds, closing off routes for contingencies.
It fails to recognise a dreadful pitch in good time
for something to be done to rescue the integrity
of the fixtures played on it. And it only listens
when a select few holler.
President Sepp Blatter bangs on regularly about
the “football family”, but it is clear who FIFA’s
favourite children are.

easy road to final, this shìt is rigged, they want ronaldo to score plenty goals. barca with man city again. practically the strongest opponent we could meet while Madrid has the weakest

let me guess - if we qualify for the next round, we'll meet atletico madrid again, and if Madrid qualify for the next round, they would meet the winner of basel vs porto!

uefa clearly favour Madrid, but its getting too noticeable this season, even goal.com has noticed.

one thing I noticed is that FIFA clearly hates man city that's why we played them last season, even goal.com posted an article about this some months ago. and with the way they are against us now, its no surprise that the two teams they want out have to face each other so one must go out. I fear for our quarter final fixture if we make it through

No offence here, but some comments here have gradually reduced to silly frustrations and unnecessarily childish.....
Which one is Madrid is receiving favourable draws? which one is Uefa hates Barcelona?
Maybe you guys have forgotten so easily that between 2009-2012,we were literally and ultimately termed Uefalona…… That's because we were favored then effortlessly!!
.....
Maybe Shakter Donetsk who got Bayern Munich or Shalke04 who got Madrid should go hang themselves!!
If reverse has been the case,we would be playing Chelsea now while PSG will face Man city!!

I don't know which favors you personally received from UEFA but I doubt Barca received any favors. Now when 2 clubs from the same country win their groups and both have EQUAL chances of being paired with clubs from other countries yet one keeps getting Manchester City, something is certainly wrong somewhere. Why didn't Real Madrid get PSG, Manchester City or Arsenal over 2 seasons?

When you were getting Olympiakos and Arsenal and Lyon and Bayer Leverkusen, while Madrid was getting Porto,Liverpool in the Knockout stages,it seemed fair then!!
