Just got a reply from CIC to an mail I sent 40 days ago regarding an earlier app sent in June. They said it was mailed back on September 24 and they have no other case specific details. I'm happy I decided to act in time...fingers crossed. Once again, thanks guys. |

Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by lonchi: 9:01pm On Dec 15, 2014 |
@damkollins Quick question and seemingly stupid - the Document Checklist notes that we "Attach small items such as photos and certified cheques with paper clip, otherwise leave documents unbound". Did you staple YOUR individual forms and then stapled YOUR back-up documents together? I was going to leave all mine properly arranged and unstapled, but then, it doesn't seem right. Please advise based on your submission. Thank you. |

lonchi:Not a seemingly stupid question . Trust me.....no need to staple them together . Just arrange them according to checklist and leave them unbound/unstapled . I actually submitted mine like that and i have my stamped passports already. Cheers. 1 Like |

good morning everyone. i have reacheed payment stage. wanted to use my gtbank card but i have a feeling it might mess things up. my mum has a dom account with gtbank but she does not know how to raise draft in foreign exchange. secondly pls how do i arrange the documents? 1. document check list 2. generic application 3. schedule a 4. economic supplementary additional family then all other supporting documents. i have stapled some documents together. |
Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by damkollins(m): 7:19am On Dec 16, 2014 |
princessayinke:Firstly ,try to remove every staples you already used coz the instruction on the checklist says you not use it.........don't tempt them to negatively rest to your application package . For the arrangement of your documents ,follow the serial number in which the documents placed them......this is the accessible way to arrange it. For the draft ,Go with your mum to Gtbank (if you're in Lagos ,it make sense to go to Gtbank, plural house,Oyin Jolayemi Street,Victoria Island ) and ask them you want to make FX draft in Canadian dollars. If you're having issues with it,you can PM me immediately . Try to ensure your package leave latest this week. Wishing you the best. Cheers. |

guy1234:. Its better to include her when ur file is been transfered to ur VO,but u will inform ur Vo about ur addition, then fill a dependant form for her,and update ur proof of fund. |

What would someone who has been denied a TRV to another country select with respect to the highlighted question below? Is eligibility for a visa the same as admissibility to a country? I understand that being eligible means a visa would be granted, however , having a visa doesnt mean one would be admissible @ POE ....... Will appreciate more info and enlightenment. Thanks

guy1234:You don't want to go through the rigorous route of adding spouse after landing...the route is crazy and torturous. Just as you have been advised,do it hassle free before getting your PR. Cheers. |

damkollins:Dare my man! I opened my mail this morning and I saw my PER staring at me. I thank God for the process so far. @guy1234, I have told you that the process of bringing in your spouse after landing is next to impossible minding the processes involved. Please, do all you have in your capacity to include your spouse. Call me later and we will discuss about the step to take. @Damkollins, since my PER got to me yesterday, should I update my VO now or I wait till after Jan 3rd after tieing the knot? |
