Though my own parents are learned,I told them a fat lie...on the day of my valedictory service while in secondary school,I collected 16k from dad for suit materials,16k from mom claiming that dad did not want to answer me and also 16k frm my uncle with d claim that my parents won't respond..at the end,everyone supplied me and I bought a suit worth 6k sha with shoes but mum later found out oo bt she just told me to use d balance and get mysef a new fone but I spent the money

A colleague of mine back in high school went home and told his parents who were illiterates that he broke the amoeba in the biology lab and the photosynthesis inside escaped and the school is asking him to pay for it.

A classmate of mine also told his parents who were also illiterates that he was asked to hire a small portion of land and labourers for his SSCE Agricultural Science practicals costing over 70,000. Unfortunately for him, his parents came to school to complain to the Principal which landed him in serious trouble. He was actually expelled for it.

Back then in secondary school,I had dis nawtie friend who always run home @ d slightest opportunity and wen his mum asked him why he was home,he'll simply tell her he was sent home for voluntary service fee by d sch. His mum being an illiterate will always give him and we'll end up using d money on fresh palm wine..................I missed d good ol' days.
