Habibuisah1: please forget about all this lies. Buhari never built nor upgrade any refinery, below is the dates the refineries were built and the capacity of the acclaimed refineries you said Buhari built. Kaduna refinery in northern Nigeria was built in 1980 with a capacity of 5.5 million mt/yr (110,000 b/d). A Lube Baseoil plant was added in 1982, and an LAB plant in 1987. Warri refinery in the south central region was built in 1978 with a capacity of 6.2 million mt/yr (125,000 b/d). A Carbon Black plant and a Polypropylene plant were added in 1986. Port Harcourt refinery in the southeast is made up of two refineries, built in 1965 and 1989. In 1993 they were merged into one, with a total capacity of 10.500 million mt/yr (210,000 b/d). The Eleme Petrochemical plant, which was built adjacent to the Port Harcourt refinery in 1995, has an Olefin production capacity of 483,000 mt/ yr, a Polypropylene capacity of 80,000 mt/yr and a Polyethylene production capacity of 250,000 mt/ yr. nigeriatrends.com/how-many-refineries-in-nigeria/ 2 Likes |

WhiteTechnology: The worst is the so called govt will not even allow private sectors to develop weapons even with a licence. I am sure what they are importing are reminants of ISIS used weapons. The igbos just kept calm because, they have not seen any reason to go to war soon...otherwise, igbos can produce deadly weapons. 1 Like |

Well, I'm surprised some posters before me are misreading this. What kind of crackheads do we have here? Must we read religion or APC/PDP politics into everything? The last time I checked, Pakistan's a country dominated by Moslems. Same with Sudan that gave flight permit over their airspace. So this has nothing to do with Boko haram being an Islamic terror group. If I'd say, the US's hands are involved. Remember the botched South African and Israel deals? Refusal to buy our oil but buying from the Saudis? The scaling down of their oil investments in the country? Now this. Please good people of Nigeria, let's put two and two together. I believe the US is hitting back because we refused them having AFRICOM on our soil. We need to look inward, that's what China did. Last year, Former President Abdulsalam Abubakar at a University's convocation lamented on the dearth of DICON. Like someone said, we can revive this institution. Let's not play politics with our destiny as a nation. This is national security we are talking about. 5 Likes |
