Buhari conducted a coup that toppled a democratically elected government in 1983 to usher in his illegitimate government because of his Hate and Disdain for Democracy. If not for him, Nigeria's democracy would have developed by now. He babarically threw the "Baby together with the bathing water".
His regime can best be described as "Reign of Terror". So feudal were his policies and style of administration. His acts of gross human rights abuses were terrible and barbaric, to the extent late Fela Kuti referred him as "Animal in Human Skin".
In sane societies, people like Buhari will be cooling themselves in prison for committing acts of "Treason" against the People and the Government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

That's the rule of the game-one kill the enemies of the state or one get killed.
