Yes I changed my lnb from the inverto red classic back to fuji gold because after series of tests I discovered that although the inverto performed better than the fuji but it was just slightly with about one or two percentage points difference.So I reasoned that since the fuji was still ok why throw it away when I can still use it for a while.It was the same lnb I was using on my former 3m fibre so I just wanted to maximize it's useful life before moving on to the inverto lnb.And of course after over two years the red classic still remains on the queue waiting patiently for its turn.

Nothing is impossible. But are you sure its receivable in Ondo state with 2.4m dish?

All this sat you just mentioned like Hotbird,is more powerful than paksat...with eirp of 53dBW wide beam...while nilesat is more closer to Nigeria with 50.1dBW in Cairo..hispasat is even stronger than hotbird with eirp of 54dBW...

if 2.4m can receive paksat in ondo it means a 1.8m can do well in sokoto that doesn't sound correct..the sat is weak though with wide beam! but with low eirp of 40dBW and 30dBW at the edge won't give you 2.4m in ondo!

probably before then you may end up getting another lnb better than inverto red classics c120 lnb..even the tiny inverto black pro c120 single flange lnb...outperformed red classics lnb on nilesat and tp 10992_7.3west!still a weak lnb!

my tv developed a fault. 4 out of my tv 5av ports have gone blurry and wavy except for the ''component port'' but when I used only one av wire to connect green av (as circled in the pic) I get only black and white picture. is it compulsory I must plug all 3colors of the components accordingly to the tv set too before I can get color?



and lastly any opinions would be appreciated concerning what could have gone wrong with my tv set that made all 4 av ports go bad and what I can do to rectify it



PS: I bought a new av cord or is there a special component cord?

I'm glad your learning fast.Indeed if a dish is not plumb it goes a long way in affecting it's tracking abilities most especially if it is a polar mount dish like yours. As for the lnb, truth is that you don't really need all those sophisticated lnbs you are mentioning for now.Just get a normal fuji gold lnb and track your signals first of all.You can always change lnbs later after you get your desired results.

Bro, I can't agree more with you.Technology keeps changing and what used to be the rave two, three years ago becomes obsolete very fast.
Hmmmm! As a pacesetter that I am, and in keeping with the trend maybe I just might move on to the C120 afterall. But the lack of a quad would be a deal breaker for me.

@tonididdy, your connection is nt right thats why its showin black and white. If you want to get it right, you must connect all three component port from the decoder to the TV component. The AV cord does not matter and there's no special component cord, provided the one you use is working. All you have to do is notice the colour of the port you connect the AV wire to and ensure its the same thing you connect at the other end.
As for your TV AV port that is malfunctioning, from my own experience as an electronic technician is that there must be a fault inside the TV panel and i recommend that you take it to a qualified technician to rectify the fault if you have tried other AV wire with it and still get the same result.
Component is component, it doesn't matter wether HD or SD decoder except the port is not included.

ok sir.the dish maker warned or advice me not to use dat type of lnd.let me describe the type of lnb i used.is fuji stargold.the silver seris.long tinny silver colour.it is a single outlet.so which other lnb can u recomend that is not sophisticated dat i can use.asides the fuji lnb i sured

Your dish should be in better condition before seeking for lnbs..try pauxis PX-2300 even digisat...they can only amplify the signal the dish reflects to them!

If he tells you not to use fuji stargold then I will be very surprised except maybe I'm missing something here because it is the same fuji stargold we both used to track my own dish and got excellent results.We only later changed to inverto red classic when I insisted that I wanted to compare the performance of the two.Kindly get back to him and confirm his instructions. Maybe it is you that did not understand him.
