Donatus stfu. Anambra has some of the best and unbeatable road networks in Nigeria traversing all parts of the state. You can take that to the Queen of England..

Don't ever bring Anambra down again and classify it alongside Imo state when it comes to development and good governance.

stfu chino ..
Am a full supporters of anambra nd imo state cos am a citizens, take it or leave it,but what i hate is wen yu want to compare both state together.when our sisters state re ahead of us..so there is no need 4 dat braggartness nd overpompousness..

lets join hands to wish eastern state well..one love chino

I dont engage in childish rant...Any sensible man will never compare Anambra and Akwaibom for obvious reasons. Ozokwa, go check waec statistics and see who is leading and where Imo is. Again, its all about quality which Imo currently lack.

I didn't know Enugu has the best roads after Akwaibom...lol
Landlord, travel and see....Some states have gone very far ,while you are here celebrating ecumenical center....guy,Anambra is way ahead of everybody and this isnt a boast...Its a fact. Go check.
at bold one,for what reasons we cant compared akwa ibom to anambra? Is it d industry nnewi have or the main market onitsha had?which one is makin yu feel too proud or superior?
i guess yu dont knw much abt akwa ibom,
u re sighting it frm afar bro,let me gist u,pls no offence o,jus to calm ur braggartness a bit..

eket is a zone of a lot of indegeneous companies, including oil companie7 and a lot of law firms nd businesses re functioning there, has a landmass than onitsha in anambra.

uyo is a place, just like tourist zone or centre and few companies and much of civil servant and has best stadium of the world,lolx..

then oron is a home of fishing business while ik town is a home of okada business and civil servant..
so tell me why i should not compare?
No need to say much b4 some wil term me as non igbo.
meanwhile, all i wanted frm my brother state in anambra is to stop feeling superior among other tribe, prides kills unity..

at bold two, appreciation is different frm celebration, pls take note, cos i neva celebrate it,nwanne.

To say the truth,
I hate that Rochas pitched tent with an aboki party. But, truth be said, he is gradually transforming Imo state. his determination to achieve the Owerri ring road system is gradually transforming the state capital and opening many new areas for development.
Every family member of mine in Owerri testify to his amazing transformation. If Imo had visionary governors like this in the past, the sky would have been the limit by now.
BTW, I'm from Anambra.

Central bank New Owerri.

Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Abagworo(m): 5:58pm On Feb 11, 2015
I am in Owerri now. PDP is losing woefully in Imo State. Jonathan is losing because people now believe he is fighting Okorocha. Everywhere I enter its all about Rochas we know and from what I saw Okorocha has done well in every aspect. People are pro-Biafra and pro-Rochas. Biafran presence is everywhere in Imo with flags hanging everywhere even in the remote villages. I love being on Okorochas side after he won in 2011 and started well.

Key observations.

The Owerri-PH highway is experiencing some work but its epileptic and cannot be finished this year as against my belief of finishing it before February 14.

The Owerri-Orlu highway has only reached 60% dualisation. The pace of work is equally slow.

All the schools have reached 90% completion. I have not seen anyone below. More schools have been remodelled but in a different design.

There is nothing slow about the pace of work I saw when I passed through that road on Monday. The Arab contractor guys are working as if their lives depend on it, attacking the road from three different angles. The villagers are making brisk business from the serious construction too, there is a spot around Umuagwo where close to hundred villagers lined up by the side of road while bulldozers deposit huge rock particles from the excavated roads to them, they crack them into gravels and stones which they will later sell to builders.
I just wonder how someone can say Jonathan is losing woefully in Imo and you believe the rest of the nonsense he said.

I was actually not interested in the pdp and Jonathan angle of his yarns as quite frankly I am not interested in the presidential election..my mind is only on Imo and abia..that stretch of bad road along that owerri ph express isn't that long though and can be finished before June if arab contractors are really serious

I am on ground now. If you need pictures of the road, I will show you. This picture shows the only spot being worked on and its laterite dumping. I have up to 50 pictures from Imo boundary to Umuagwo where 500 metres has been paved on one side.

So You didn't see the other people at the end close to the barrack putting finishing touches on the culvert they constructed? You didn't see the ones that were filling up the medians of the newly dualised portions?
What about the guys opening up new portions of the road for dualization?
I saw work on at least three different sections of the road.
You are a well known liar on this forum anyway. Your opening statement in that post is enough to tell any discerning person how dishonest you are.

Primary school in Berem's hometown which happens to be among the few uncompleted ones out of 305. It has reached 90% as what is left is just painting and furniture.

interesting! cheesy cheesy
I am in Ihittenansa in Orsu LG right now. I came for the burial of my friend's dad.
The roads are nothing to write home about. I am even ashamed to snap pictures because the roads are in a terrible condition. angry

Coming from Ihiala junction to Isseke have good roads but the minute you enter Imo state from Orsu (Awo-Idemili,Amannachi,Ihitenansa to Ihioma junction,it is an eyesore. I think the road is a federal road from the FERMA sign board I saw.

Tomorrow,I will be heading to my villa then to Owerri.
Will bring pictures when am done with my trip.

Interesting observation though it wouldn't be right to trade blames. I came to Okporo for Hope Uzodinma campaign today. In Owerri now but will leave very early in the morning.

Oh dear! embarassed
Will be in Okporo tomorrow and Owerri next tomorrow. At least I will spend a week in Owerri hopefully before going back to Lagos.

Can you imagine that since I came to Orsu two days ago,no public power supply? You see the reason I hate visiting home? Am very sure my own villa has the same problem of electricity supply. I have not drank cold water since I came here despite the hot weather.

Ah, my supposed sisi, berem, finally arrives her claimed hometown Okporo, in Orlu - after about one-and-half year's absence.

But berem wants to spend only one day in her home town, Okporo - but to spend about one week in Owerri. ---------- What?

Hi berem,

it's time for berem to dispute what we home-based NLanders show about Orlu in pix:

show pix of the water-logged Amaigbo Road at St. Joseph's Catholic Church spot,

show pix of any replacement for Sam Okwaraji Stadium partially destroyed by Okorocha govt;

show pix of the about 1km road leading to IMSUTH from Old Owerri Rd to Amaigbo Rd which remains non-motorable since Okorocha came to office.

show the deep hole Okorocha govt dug at the centre of Orlu near a church to collect flood water, instead of digging gutter to a very close valley to collect flood water; etc.

It is not enough for berem to claim she is from Orlu, but mostly antagonistic to anybody clamouring for the well-being of citizens living in Orlu -

action time.

Why do you hate us Omanbalas, your hatred for us is nauseating and suicidal if not control, such hatred on us could be likened to the dangerous chemical which is more harmful were stored than were poured.

Check how hatred have turned you blind.
When HopeAtHand insult Igbos you will say its an individual Ikwerreman ranting online but when Chino insults Imo State you will say that's how Anambra people behave, why are you so wicked to be this contradictory, why are you being swallowed by hate to be blinded by emotion.

This is how you guys always go around preaching anti-Anambra sentiments from one forum to another from one page to another and from one office to another.

When Pita Obi protested over the neglect of AIIA by the Pilgrims and they started uplifting pilgrims there nobody saw you guys but when Ayogu Eze stopped Uba from moving a motion in the senate you all were here cheering him because he stopped Anambra progress.
Earlier this year the same Obi donated his personal N2m to a school in Enugwu State but it was not reported here but anytime it will be the rest against Omanbala we will see you all cheering from the sideline.
