The truth is that Buhari/osibanjo tango is a marriage of convenience. It is most likely to descend into another Abiola/North inbroglio down the line if Buhari wins. North is North and Yoruba is Yoruba, old animosities remains unblemished. Interesting times ahead.

@redoil: yorubas, me and my family [from father and mother sides], home and abroad, muslims and non muslims, i have not found any that is a 'slave' or has a 'slave mentality' to anyone, including any and all tribes and groups in nigerian north or anywhere. while i am not from ibadan, i have gone to homes of friends in ibadan where some people from the north have become part of them after 'conflicts' between the tribes. i am sure you are neither hausa nor yoruba. politicians do not represent the yorubas. i don't think politicians represent your tribal generic position. slaves are captives. i don't know a yoruba community that is under such condition. your sentiment about the past before you were born should not make you hide the truth. In authentic yoruba saying: yi yo ekun ki nshe ti ojo [there may be a yoruba near you that will help you understand this].

cowards? how come? restraining, yes. definitely not cowards. It will be impossible to know the potential of a person pushed, until he pushes back because he had enough. bullies are often weak people. the one that restrains himself is the one you should watch out for his potential, in case he unleashes on you. hating the yorubas enough to call them names that do not belong to them is to me the shameful thing.
