Ephemmm: You think the constitution shd be set aside because of your Awaiting Result General? If he wants to contest, he has 4 years between now and 2019 to write WAEC and come back at 77yrs old to contest. Nonsense. You think those 10 suits were taken to Sharia court? Just be shouting Sai Buhari till he is disqualified. |

mrrock: There are so many posts l would have loved to respond to, one after the other but time will not allow, so l chose this one that made an attempt to go by "the rules" of the Electoral Act. 1.) Between" Mohamed" Buhari and Mohamadu Buhari is like trying to find the difference between "Chukwu" and "Ikechukwu" ..... one can be used interchangeably for the other without committing any offense. The attached surname (Buhari) is indicative enough to show that it is the same person. Will a Judge disqualify Ikechukwu, because he abbreviates his name to "Chukwu", even when the Judge is patently aware that it is the same person and such has no bearing on the "election process and result"? I dont think so Lastpage! 1 Like |

I just pity this country because every institution has been bought to tell lies and take sides. I said it before that this coming week will tough. I do not know what will happen if GMB is disqualified. And besides, where are other aspirants because I learnt they are 16, no campaign? Or are they working silently for pdp? Anyways, whether there is suit o or not GMB is also part of the contestants. |

Ephemmm: He stated that his has WASC, so he shd attach it as required by the electoral act. Other contestants clearly complied with the law. By his own submission, he has nailed himself. He tried using affidavit to represent what he claimed was with Nigeria Army. If he had known the location of his WASC, why represent it with affidavit? Or don't you know when affidavit is required to replace original? Even the Army came out to say they don't have it. You think the judges are interested in your hypnotised sentiment? What precedence do you think the judges will set? Come here and post on the the 24th of March. 1 Like

2.) Occupation: Civil Servant ...... When he is a Politician! Hmmm.... in desperate situation, the Desperadoes will try to hold-on to ANYTHING, no matter how infantile! The Question a Judge will likely ask you is this: How does Buhari's occupation, be it a Civil Servant or a Politician, affect the "process or result of the election"? There is some thing in law called "reason detre"! For every criminal act, the prosecutor/Judge tries to establish a MOTIVE. It is the motive that differentiates, for example, between being sentenced for Murder (death by hanging or injection/firing squad) .... and being done for Manslaughter (7years to serve 3.5years behind bars) even though in both cases, an innocent life has been taken by the accused. So, What will be Buhari's motive for stating he is a Civil Servant , when he is a Politician? Aside from "common mistakes of interpretation" when filling a form (since we can argue that as a former President/head of state, PTF chairman, he is a retired Civil Servant!). Finally, what does Buhari stand to gain, what advantage does stating "Civil Servant" bestow on him, with regards to the election? If there is none, then no ulterior motive would have been established and No Prima facie case would have been established. So "Dead on Arrival" as the first case. Lastpage! |

If the court be cowed by the fact that there will be crisis if GMB is disqualified from contesting the 2015 presidential election going by the facts and evidence before the court, then a very bad and deadly precedence will be set by the court...one that this nation will suffer for.,, let's see what happens on 24th, that's one judgment I won't miss. |

Adminisher: Why do you say this! Is it not true! If you keep making excuses for this man. You talk about sacking someone in the middle of a fight, what bout cutting a man on a journey halfway especially when is making progress no matter how small! You comment is unfair and very biased. You say he is from SE, are you from Chad? A very nepotic comment and unpatroitic. So if Buhari breaks the law, its allowed but if its GEJ, its totally intolerable. And you all keep talking intergrity and a man is lying under oath. If he stands before God nko o, I bet he will call God a fool then. He hasn't even entered and with all the intergrity chants here and there, he is already carrying out corrupt practices... Me don't get it o. APC makes excuses and shift blame and yet, the chastise others cos they don't align with them. Is that the government we want? Do forget, Nigerian Politics is not one individual but a party thing. Nigeria is ruled by Party, are you sure you want APC to rule this country cos that will be very sad. Very sad. I rather say wait till the next generation of politicians cos the poltical terrain is changing obviously and the next four yrs is just around the corner. We have waited for more than 30yrs and another 4yrs won't be that bad, that is assuming you think is bad. I think it has being developmental and good for our economy. The present oppositions are not the one and they won't bring change. Believe, they will recycle themselves till our younger generations know not our history and know that we fought against this. We want to embark on a slave journey and that's the truth if we allow the opposition to go thru. Vote President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan. He is the way forward. By the time he is done and thru with his program, younger and fresher politicians will emerge and then, we are in a safer zone to keep channeling our transformation, or if you wish to call it change. God bless Nigeria 1 Like |

CHM11:You have said it all. If he is not qualified, he should be directed to go and sit his ass at his home in Daura. Anyone that wants to die can do so afterwards, no shaking. This country is bigger than the ambition of anyone. It is the prerogative of the courts to determine the expediency of hearing any case and not for any lawyer telling the courts how or at what speed to process applications. Making the judgements as appropriate before election is better than plunging us into post election crisis because of false hopes that might be dashed at the end of the day. |

zyzybabe1: If you want to abuse Yorubas, please do OPENLY1 *At least they are not the Tribe that beats their Chest and then get whooped so much so that their leader ran away like a thief in the night to Ivory Coast! *Dont also forget that a Yoruba man it was, Benjamin Adekunle, who drove the whole of Biafra from Oore into the River Niger and the rest scampered off like Rabbits while "The Scorpion" killed anything that moves, pretend to move, dead or decaying! *May l also remind you that it was a Yoruba man by name Olusegun Obasanjo, that took the SURRENDER of the entire Biafran rag-tag Army! If you still think Yoruba are cowards simply because they dont "chest-beat and do Gra-gra" like your folks, then you need to see a Doctor! Its funny how you guys are so steeped in self Delusion! You can summarise all Nigerians into three main categories: #Some people learn from the mistakes of others (Yorubas). #Some people learn from their own mistakes (Northerners) #Some people are INCAPABLE OF LEARNING AT ALL...... (Igbos like you) It seems History will always repeat itself for those who are incapable fo learning because back then in 1963-4, that is how you guys were doing Gra-Gra and we warned you to calm down but you refused to listen to reason! You got it coming , all over again...Walahi! Let me leave you, for better things for now. Lastpage! 3 Likes |

3.) Finally, concerning his certificates and birth Cert The requirement of the Electoral Act is for a MINIMUM of School cert. Emphasis is on minimum. Buhari "claims" he has the minimum ..... and even has more than the minimum. So question is: Does the law require him to stick to the minimum (by attaching that School cert result).... or does the law allow him to 'attach any qualification as long as it meets the minimum, AT THE LEAST? This is a no-brainer. The "reason detre" behind that requirement is to ensure that our President can read and write, at least to the school cert level. If more, like Jonathan, then it should "have been" better though Jonathan has proved that "Paper Qualification" has nothing to do with being Intelligent! Thus, Buhari only needs to either attach his O-level results........... or any of his results that meets or supersedes an O-level result. This matter has been thrashed over and over again as even the American Military School which he attended (whose result is higher than an O-level result) has confirmed his graduation from that school. Also, Cambridge has also authenticated his o-level results. In other words, those still clamouring for his O-level results are just chasing shadows or at best, ar elooking fior ways to play "Gbagbo" with Nigerians. The issue of Birth cert is not even worth debating. People all over substitute "Sworn Declaration" for original Birth cert. It is acceptable in Nigeria and many places all over the world. Period.
