Bwahahahaha gringringrin

Patches posted a foolish photo that ignores radars rear hemisphere search and detect function. He also posted an ancient F-15 American radar when I asked for modern Italian Grfo 7 radar specifications. He answered me with wrong examples like a fvcking illiterate. Am sure he is sweating on his laptop now trying to save himself from this embarrassment, you want to enter the same big mess with Patches?

I posted so much radar science facts here in the past 7 days, jet radars are waves, they fan out like air . Radars in jet scan in front, below....ground search, backwards detection.....rear hemisphere, and sideways.

Does Gripen radar detect enemy jets at the back behind and sideways beside the Gripen?

Okoko bioko !!!

South African navy cannot shoot straight, South African army cannot shoot on target. No wonder Rhino poachers defeated SANDF on homeland soil.

If Boko Haram war is fought inside Soweto townships, South African army will be cracking the skulls of innocent women like this madam Felicia, while the real enemy will escape after rampaging and ravishing South Africa's civilian population inside their homes.

SANDF can never win a war at home....madam Felicia got her innocent skull drilled by incompetent Southie infantry men who fail to land a simple mortar on target....this army is worse than we ever thought, all they know is photography and monthly salary. SANDF = FAILURE MAGNETS gringringrin
.

grin grin grin

Read the latest comic relief from the South-Africans. SANDF troops hitch "taxi flights" and were stranded in bangui were they were roundly defeated, while Zuma acquires new Private jets.

Like a certain hegemon/ colossus in west-Africa, although this country's Airforce has over 30 Transport planes(including 7 C-130's and 6 G-222's) the Government said no, you need additional troop transports. So, the Government went out an purchased more troop transports.

Why can't a certain Government in Southern-Africa act responsibly........ is this too much to ask?

The South-Africans can kiss kiss kiss kiss good-bye their multiple wet dreams of any Transport planes. Uselessness of a country.

Johannesburg - A storm is brewing over the acquisition of new VIP jets for President Jacob Zuma and his Cabinet at a cost of R2 billion, just after Finance Minister Nhlanhla Nene announced revised spending plans to reduce waste.

Netwerk24 reported that the three new VIP jets - a Boeing Business Jet and two new Falcon 900 Business Jets - were being acquired for "international commitments" as the president's international obligations have increased dramatically.

However, the money to be spent on the new jets was originally earmarked to buy crucial freight carriers needed for South African troops abroad.

Bad reporting and confusion.

The controversy is over why SAAF is getting VVIP transport planes first before medium or strategic transport planes which are also badly needed while the presidential jet isn't that really old.

Another issue is that they're planning to get an interim plane not something new.

The money for those other projects is still there, as you can see the A-Darter project is now going into production.

Not enough aircrew

Netwerk24 reported that there were also not enough pilots and crew to fly the new jets.

Maynier said of the 830 posts for aircrew, 348 were vacant.

Here's a funny comment.

"Hi,

Just heard on the news now..new VIP planes are a definite... egoism at its best.
Dont live far from the Rand Show grounds...one brief fly past by a Hawk(I think) and three Pilatus Silver Falcons in formation for a few seconds and then gone.

Hardly any or very little assistance from the SAAF in controlling the massive blazes in Cape Town, but we will rock up in Nairobi or Lagos or wherever in our luxurious business jets"

Come to Lagos in your business jets, while troops are left stranded. Come and ball in Lasgidi!!

Welcome to Lagos!!!!

The South Africa air force will only give assistance if required so.

SAAF Oryx helicopters were used in putting out the blazes. It isn't their task to fight fires.

The assistance was limited cause of the people leading the operations.

Actually it was Algeria(SA's biggest North Africa ally) and Egypt(to mend relations after the whole coup thing).

That's your own illusional believe that if you are black then Africa belongs to you. What about Arabs, Ethiopians, Somalis and others? Do we say that they are not too black to be Africans? Man you are still stuck to an old believe of Rastafarian religion of believing that the world is only reserved for black man. Grow up and accept the fact that SA is the only multi racial country in Africa that brings all cultures, traditions and religions in one, a rainbow nations that brings Africans, Coloureds, Asians, Arabs, and Whites in one combo. Man you need to grow up.
I am going to be real and you're going to get hurt.

You compare the united states to south Africa. Well, they both share something in common; the scum of the black race.

America is still seen as a white country whose military, economic and technological superiority are all driven by the white man.

Blacks make up 13% of the population which put them roughly within 60 million people but they never managed to make their mark outside music and sports despite being in the land of the free and most technologically advanced country on earth.

South Africa in all honesty was built, organised and structured by the anglo-dutch as an extension of Europe over 300 years ago.
despite blacks being over 90% of the population. It was Europe away from Europe.

Then in 1994 apartheid become unpopular. Black southies were asked to partake in civilised conduct and they voted themselves into power via population count.

South Africa has been nose diving and free falling in all possible indexes. From a stagnant economy to poor organisation; from crime to city-decay; from corruption to mismanagement; inefficiency to poor standard of education; infrastructural decay to urban crimes, mass sexual to other sexual maladjustments. Whites are fleeing from Johannesburg to sandton as blacks move in.

Anglo-dutch companies are fleeing south Africa due to harsh ANC policies and setting up shops in other African countries, especially Nigeria. Blacks are mismanaging firms, institutions own and built by anglo-dutch.

There's no single aspect of the economy, society or institution the anglo-dutch built that the blacks have improved upon.
instead they brag and boast in Africa of what the anglo-dutch had built and seek to intimidate others with it and yet lacking in ideas on how to improve on them.

Consequently, and rightly so, the world still views every good thing that comes out of South Africa has a credit to the anglo-dutch. Just as any wonderful piece of innovation from the US is automatically tied to the Anglo-Saxon or whites.

That is why south Africa lacks legitimacy in Africa. That's why she isn't a leader. That is why she cannot encourage and spur Africa to greatness. South Africa has had a peaceful and smooth "democratic" transition of power
for 21 years but yet the world reacted in Nigerian just concluded general elections as if it were the first of its kind in Africa.

It is because the world is waiting for an African magic and leadership which credit can be given to african without the proverbial feeding bottle of the white man; something the world can report in their tabloids and say, AFRICA HAS DONE IT. That's what south Africa can NEVER GIVE TO AFRICA. she isn't a country of white/black/Jewish etc etc. She is almost 90% black. And she can't give credit to the entire black Africa when she can't even differentiate between civil rule and democracy, can't understand international politics or build an economy.

Like the ISS report says, south Africa is "punching above their weight". That's what you guys are doing here with a blatant show of ignorance , misled by a confused and misguided educational system which couldn't adjust to the realities of pre-apartheid South Africa and post -apartheid South Africa.

SAAF was able to deploy reinforcements within 48 hours of the battle.

And Sub-saharan African air force can do that, some cried about in airlift when Sonogo took power in Mali and rebels were advancing South at a great speed.

Purchasing airlift aircraft won't be simple like finding a second hand interim VVIP aircraft.

and while you ponder on that source enjoy this little excerpt:
Disclaimer:
The Internationalist campaign of Cuba in Angola is often portrayed in some internet sites and articles according the point of view of former members of the South African (Apartheid government) Military, the SADF: such sources glorify the war machine of one of the most brutal regimes of the last century and stain the historical memory of the freedom fighters that fought to knock down the racist regime. Such elements will ever try to make such works, in desperate frustration after the loss of privileges of the white conservative minority.
Regardless their futile attempts, the ultimate and final downfall of the racist regime has put an headstone on these nostalgic, while the Cuban Revolution goes on and the African countries

Battle of Quifangondo
10 November 1975
Decisive Allied strategic, tactic and moral Victory. Luanda was saved, the FNLA was destroyed, the South African invaders were forced to retreat.
When the fate of the Republic was in danger, it was this battle that changed the fate of the war.
--------------------------------
A coalition of 2000 counter-revolutionaries of the FNLA under Holden Roberto, 1200 Zairian soldiers of Mamina Lama, 120 Portuguese mercenaries of Santos e Castro, and 52 South Africans of Ben Roos were faced by 850 Angolans and 88 Cubans (sometimes reported 188 by error) and a single Soviet officer, under the command of the Angolan General Ndozi and the Cuban Raul Diaz Arguelles. Sometimes it’s claimed the presence of a group of 200 Katanguese, fighting against the FNLA.
--------------------------------
Cuban forces ambushed the enemy using 6 rocket launchers BM-21. It was an unexpected weapon and the enemy did not even reached the Cubans-Angolans.
It was a massacre, almost all the FNLA soldiers were killed by the rockets, mortar’s and light fire, the white racist soldiers used them as cannon’s fodder and only 5 Portuguese mercenaries were killed. 6 jeeps and 20 Phanard armoured were destroyed or abandoned.
Despite most of the FNLA fighting-force was reported as destroyed, a Polish source claims that actually FNLA suffered only 120 dead.
The 3 South African guns of 140mm didn’t fired, while one of the two ex-North Korean guns of 130mm of the Zairian detonated at the first salvo killing the soldiers around it because it was not cleaned and repaired.
Only two Cubans were wounded and the Angolans suffered 2 wounded and 1 dead, killed while he was moving out from the trench.
Another pro-Angolan advisor was wounded, the only Soviet that took part at the action.
--------------------------------
This important victory, nick-named by the enemy as the Road of Death, was the end of the enemy chance to destroy the growing socialist African movements and the hope of all the coloured people under the racism and was probably the battle with the main big difference between casualties, with one dead to an extimate of two thousands dead. It was almost the end for the counter-revolutionary FNLA group, known to have ethnic groups notorious for bloody massacres against civilians (including episodes of cannibalism ).

No, it is the responsibility of local municipality. They had a contract with a private aerial firefighting company.

That company wouldn't be happy if the air force started taking their job. It was only after when the flames were out of control did they ask for help.

people criticise the air force for doing nothing no the fighting was coordinated with spotter planes and all that. The helicopters didn't just run to get water and bomb.

SAAF will dedicate resources if they ask for help and it did.

The Oryx is not a Super Puma they might have similar capabilities but they're different.

Get your facts first!

Nigerian troops lost towns after towns without any reinforcement. Nigeria also bought a VIP helicopter last year while BH controlled towns.

48 hours under a short notice SAAF was able to deploy reinforcements.

No country in sub-saharan Africa could've done a thing during the Battle of Bangui, as no country has capability to airlift helicopters the size of the Rooivalk and Oryx without removing their gearboxes.

There is a project to get new airlift aircraft, people are just saying why buy VVIP instead of getting airlifters first.

This was during operation Savannah.

SA troops could see "the gates" of Luanda but the civilian force members as young as 16 and half were already battle weary a lot of them sick.

These young men fought hard against Cuban special forces and specialist troops.

The biggest mistake during op was sending men to Ebo.

Real Dipshit images and comment !

That is NOT Nigerian F-7NI jet image, that is NOT Italian Grifo -7 radar image, are you more retaarded than we believed?

You posted old American F-15 radar with ONLY frontal radar view, what of elevation upper view, depression ground view, side view, and rear hemisphere view?

You posted garbage.

I said show me Italian Grifo 7 radar all round view technical specifications as proof of your fake claim that Grifo is blind at the sides.....prove it....we are still waiting gringringrin

Augustus

ALl radars on jets in the world have blind spots.

Your radar dish does not rotate through 360 degrees

Thus you do not have 360 degree coverage.

Do you need another sciece lesson?

Naaaah !

Those SANDF training photos have less than 200 troops, SANDF does NOT train 3,000 men on one field grin

UN peace mission troops are not all combatants, you are away from home, they go with lots of medics, mechanics, laundry men, cooks, gay men for homo practices, and female soldiers for râpe fun time.

SANDF has NEVER and will never deloy 3,000 troops in one war zone, don't even mention 30,000 troops, SANDF cannot deploy ordinary 3,000 troops into war, you are a 'small combat only' army.....of cowards with a very small destiny grin

PORT ELIZABETH, Republic of South Africa (July 25, 2013) -- Approximately 700 U.S. and 3,000 South African Defense Force service members gathered here for the opening ceremony of Exercise Shared Accord 13, July 24.
http://www.army.mil/article/107990/

SANDF deployed 20 000 men to Angola

Fact remains - South African soldiers are better equipped.

#Trap gringrin
.

Augutus.

No one cares about the rear survey - we are talking about the sides.

Unless your radar dish rotates 360 degrees you have no coverage there.

AN/APG radar is more powerfull than the Girfo-7 and is about as old

That money was accounted for last year

We have known about this acquisition for ages.

Airlift and MPA are budgeted for next year

Mokopa has been aquired. CRAM has been aquired. Badger has been aquired. OPV tender is goiing to be announced in a couple of months. 18 000 hours worth of aviation fuel. Money has been set aside for transports. Gripen have flown over 800 hours in some years.

Like we ever doubted the SAN wasn't culpable in the "mis-firing" of Mr. Anthony Day. The SANDF has a history of incompetence, ineptitude and sheer stup1dity.

Here's another incident showing the gross incompetence of the SANDF and her poorly trained men.

Johannesburg - An SANDF unit could possibly have fired the mortar shell that crashed into a house in Brakpan, on the East Rand, an army spokesperson said on Monday.

"We are still verifying pieces of information we have which suggest that one of the SA National Defence Force units was involved," spokesperson Xolani Mabanga said on Monday.

Police said on Sunday that a 20-year-old woman was injured when the mortar shell crashed through the roof of her house on Saturday.

The woman was in a critical but stable condition in a hospital in Benoni.

She was named in media reports on Monday as Felicia Klopper. She reportedly suffered a cracked skull and shoulder injuries when the mortar shell hit her head.

Police spokesperson Kabelo Marumo said on Monday that police were investigating.

"We will provide an update as soon as we get more information," he said.

The woman's home was reportedly near the Apex Military Base in Dalview, Brakpan.

Mabanga said mortars were used by the military, and its operations were normally conducted by more than one person.

"During peace time it is something we use in training, or for the purposes of demonstration, but not within a residential area."

He said the military used training areas or a shooting range to do demonstrations.

The maximum range of this type of mortar was 2.5km, he said.

Yet again you are posting incomplete stories

Where does it say the SANDF did fire it?

You want to talk about incompetance?

OK.

- 13 000 dead
- 1,6 million displaced
- Conquered an area the size of Belgium
