Its unfortunate you can only see and reason through your Nose. I don't know which tribe you come from, your post shows you either come from Cameroon seeking asylum in Nigeria. Is it only Nigeria in the world who is made up of more than one ethnic group?, if Yoruba should claim their country other tribes would suffer. Only Yorubas are keeping Nigeria as one. The history of Igbos eating themselves after biafra war has not fade away. If it happens again that would be the end of their race. Niger Deltas plight is the so call oil, but unfortunately you cannot drink the oil, the last time i check they do not have enough farming to sustain their economy, the so call Oyel you clain you own its Over Nigeria, The Chad Basin, in Lagos, already in Ondo State and soon we will discover it every other place and your commodity would be the most useless in the world. If by now the price is dwindling you should know how useless it would be. The presence of West Africa Countries presence in Lagos would always make the Yoruba economy top the list. All your investment in Lagos would be taken over by the government why you would be sent back to your Oyel Village to start afresh. Yet Yourbas belives in One Unity at the determent of their sons to be in power. If my brother betrays me and do not move the country forward i would rather Vote for other tribe.

truefact:
Awolowo never believed in anything that's why he died like nothing. He is coward. He has no choice of his. Zik bring him to nigeria, Gowon kept him in Nigeria even to this days.

Yorubas fight for your own country. ..Nigeria is not a country. ..

It is Yoruba cowardice and timidity that make them want Igbos to remain in Nigeria. Igbos give those cowards a kind of protection and cover from their masters up north. That is why if igbos secede now, yorubas will secede from their Hausa masters.

Yorubas fight for your own country. ..Nigeria is not a country. ..

Your hero committed suicide. Your hero is coward who never fight for your freedom. Your hero had no choice of his, remember Zik made him accept nigeria and Gowon made him stay in Nigeria. Your hero believed nothing and die like nothing. ..WHAT A BIG SHAME

Yawn- These guys are getting monotonous already, and it's just the 29th of April undecided undecided
Despite having their 'son' in power, I can't see that their lot improved significantly. Everyone is just after his own 30 pieces of silver. Do you really imagine Dokubo, having tasted of Abuja poisoned chalice, will now don battle fatigues and enter the creeks?
How about if he gets killed by mistake? grin grin

Emenahagos02:
•Don’t take us for granted

Even as the All Progressives Congress (APC) has promised to sustain certain agencies of government to keep up with development in Niger Delta, ex-militants from the region have cautioned the incoming administration of General Muhammadu Buhari not to tamper with the programmes of the outgoing Jonathan’s government.

Speaking under the aegis of Niger Delta Salvation Front(NDSF), the ex-militants alleged that their kinsman and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Dr Goodluck Jonathan, lost the election to international conspiracy and further accused the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof Attahiru Jega, of playing a regional/ethnic card in the just-concluded general elections.

The statement signed by Victor Tamara and Michael Akporode, National Coordinator and Public Relations Officer of the group respectively, reads in part:

“We are members of the Niger Delta Salvation Front(NDSF), a new grand coalition of ex-militants and agitators from all the Niger Delta states.

“We have watched keenly the recent developments in the country- that is the general elections, especially the presidential election, and the hurried concession by our brother, President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan.

“We are compelled by these developments to issue this official statement -our first on the matter- which represents our views and stand on the elections and the issues arising there-from.

“We note, unlike the position of some skewed international observers and the media community, that  the general elections were not free and fair, and do not meet with best international standards for electoral conduct.  For instance, the Card Readers adopted by the Jega-led Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) were systemically used to disenfranchise many people of Southern origins who likely would have voted for President Jonathan. Even the distribution of the Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs) was done in such a way to favour the North, the natural support base of General Buhari.

“But for the President-elect, we want him and his party, the APC to note that we are watching carefully their plans and mission for the Niger Delta. We want them to recall the recent history of the region when crises led to disruption of Nigeria’s oil production capacity and inevitably affected the income accrued to federal, state and local governments.

“ That was because of decade-old marginalisation of the region and her people, who are the chicken that lay the golden eggs.

“In the past few years, some form of peace and stability had returned to the region largely because of the interventionist policies of the Yar-Adua/Jonathan presidency. The policies led to such laudable programmes and agencies such as the Niger Delta Ministry, the Amnesty Programme, … etc.

“ While our people think these governments could have done more, they were nonetheless not unhappy with these programmes and accept them as the irreducible minimum conditions for peace in the region. “Therefore, any attempt to scrap these programmes and agencies and marginalise the people of the region because they voted for the PDP would certainly lead us back to those days when Nigeria could barely pay salaries because of poor production output.

“We are not issuing threats, only a warning: That if you create the conditions for trouble in the Niger Delta through marginalization in the scheme of things, then be prepared to reap what you sow. He who sows the wind should be prepared to reap the whirlwind. A word is enough.”

But Daily Sun checks revealed that the APC while unveiling its blueprint had enunciated programmes that would redress the socio-economic inequality plaguing the oil producing communities in the country.

I will ignore the tribal attack and engage you with the assumption that you have a working brain.

When ignorant people like you scream split the country. One question you fail to ask yourself is "into how many pieces."

Don't be decieved that Niger Delta will like to go with a Biafra Country neither will Middle belt go with Hausas.

Ilorin is regarded as part of North Central despite it being a Yoruba state.

The repercussion of the short sightedness of your suppose 'Hero' is the reason why Yoruba will not support any senseless splitting of the country for now.

Igbo Man will be like our Oyel, A delta man hates being addressed as Ibo. As a matter of fact i have Delta Friends whose father will rather die than allow the daughters Marry Ibo. So think twice before you scream 'Our COuntry'

If Nigeria split, Ibo will likely bear most brunt and will be at the losing end. They have investments accross Nigeria.

People tend to forget that militancy is different from War & Buhari has fought in Nigerian civil war, he personally lead Nigerian troops to fight Foreign troops/rebels that invaded lake chad area; he defeated them & even invaded their country & captured a lots of towns & villages, he fought islamists who are like Book Haram way back, Buhari is an experienced General so I pity you militants, your people, properties, sources of living, villages etc as the tension in Nigeria will simply make them turn your militancy in to civil war for you people & this is a war you can never win; 100's of thousands if not millions will quickly join the military on the federal side & heavy military equipments which weren't even used against Book Haram will be used against you; do you know that a bomb that can destroy half a city is in the inventory of Nigerian military? I pity you people as I am also a Niger deltan who reason maturely through proper analysis & I will fight on the federal side by God grace.

Good then! so they should have been doing that......the regions have been so milked off to service the whole of Nigeria and not until all this militant rise which I really don't blame them for, so they should start doing that. Northerners cannot be owning oil blocs that is not in their village while the real owners themselves are denied so lets face it. A true change in Nigeria has to address all this issues as well

When it comes to ND militant, there is notting like empty threats.... OBJ bowed to it and that was what produced Goodluck as a VP and eventually president.

I can assure you that Buhari will be lost in any battle if he chose that way. Apart from Buahri being so daft, he so old to handle stress...aso rock stress no be moi moi

We don't have a motivated navy to fight in the waters like you think.

Have you forgotten that a whole ship once missed from our shore till date? Hehehehehe

Mind you, ND militant fight systematically. They don't just bomb everybody like bokoharam.

Buhari actually has a better option than engaging them.

The threat is real and the south are not smiling.
