So long as we refuse to invest in new refineries, fix the existing ones to refine at full capacity, generate and distribute enough electricity that would serve the citizeneries of this country, we can curse to the end of the earth. We will forever be at the mercy of these fuel marketers. PDP as a party for the past 16 yrs has refused to come up with a plan to put an end to fuel importation becos its cronies breath and live on the fraud called subsidy. Come may 29th 2015, GMB has a mandate to liberalise this sector, pass the PIB bill so that investors can build new refineries, audit the TAM contract of the existing refineries and privatise them. The same cabals running the fuel importation business are the same people running the power sector. GMB has his hands full, but we know he can deliver in four years. 9 Likes |

Op, here in abuja, u can't find a single station selling fuel. Even the 2 major ones, conoil and Total, opposite NNPC towers are not selling. The queue in NNPC mega station is as long as from Ikeja to Lekki. I personally have been going through hell in the last 2 weeks buying black market 2500 for 10 litres that last only 2 days for each 1 Like |

Nigerians are the most ungreatfull humans ever present on earth, a govt took the pains to try dismantling the cabals that held Nigerians to ransom for years with 6 months intervals of compensatory scarcity to oil marketers to quiet them from the steady loot that was going on in the industry, GEj took the painful decision of turning from this cabal whose back he rode to power against all odds by attempting subsidy removal, ie let the market be competitive n people patronize the cheapest, the cabals got angry we didn't support him, he retraced his steps, even at that keep the country wet with fuel for more than 3years although not at very friendly prices, ask yourself, since march 2011 till February 2015 when was the last time you had to bribe an attendant to get a litre of fuel, OBJ was minister of petrol himself in his regime but scarcity was every 6-7months when GEJ needed us the masses whom he worked for, we joined the cabal who held us to ransom for years to castigate him. l 14 Likes 3 Shares |

I also castigated the total removal of subsidy then by Jonathan but now I understand more... If we had accepted that decision we would most likely have made progress by now and save more cash from subsidy thieves lol. Make buhari end am once and for all and improve refinery. God help us 3 Likes |

Luedave: In the last 5 years, this ugly experience of Fuel Scarcity became forgotten, a thing of the past. From the look of things, may be, this is just the beginning. If this goes on for one year under Baba, the economy of South Sudan must overtake Nigeria's. Those who said it was a lie that under Jonathan government, Nigeria's economy overtook South Africa's as Africa's fastest growing economy, because Nigerians were not also rich .... Sai Baba. Sai Baba. Sai Baba. Sai Baba. Sai Baba. Change. Change. Change. Chanhe. Change. |
