mrnilobrawn:Most occupations that fall within Engineering Associate are Technicians. I will advise you to check any occupation you are eligible for on the SOL/CSOL list and know the specific requirements by checking the ANZCO code. |

missakomaye:Thanks alot, pls what about the school fees? Do one have to pay from nigeria or show evidence of money in bank account and pay on arrival in australia? Pls I need this to know and summarise the total |
Re: General Australian Visa Enquiries by missakomaye(f): 4:29pm On May 07, 2015 |
School fees should be paid before Confirmation of Enrollment will be given, depends on the school you picked. You have to pay from Nigeria and still have enough money in you acct to take care of living expenses. Fees depend on your school of choice and course. peleson: 1 Like |

mrnilobrawn: It's my Hubby that is actually going for Nursing and he is told to do 1yr TPP and 3 yrs for the nursing Course. He is going to Melbourne. We have 2 kids bur not going With him untill he gets PR so am asking if it's possible or he finishes school before he gets the PR? Tnk you |
Re: General Australian Visa Enquiries by mrnilobrawn: 7:45pm On May 07, 2015 |
Ninibabe:He has to finish schooling, coz he wil need his result/certificates to file for PR. Unless ofcourse he already hav a degree and relevant working experince then he can start his PR as soon as he gets to Australia |

Hi guys, I must commend you all for the wonderful job you are doing. please help me with a few ideas so i dont make a Mistake. I got admission to study an MBA in Newcastle Business school and have gone through all the required process (Obtained a visa, Ecoe & others) My major question is if i could get jobs that could aid in paying my fees although i have 1ST & 2ND semester fees but Im concerned abt living expense and remaining 2 semester fees. Also, if there are any Nigerians i could meet in Newcastle that would aid my transition and enable me settle easily. please any ideas & advises would be helpful as i leave Nigeria on the 14th |

Ninibabe: What is TPP? Well...if the rules still remain the same, he can qualify for a 189/190 after his degree. Especially as his completion of a nursing degree will enable him register with Ahpra, and wont need to assess his degree, as it is an Australian one. It would have been better if he was in the regional area, I mean schoolig in a regional area. Cos you get extra 5pts for that and you are almost guaranteed a job. |

Many Nigerians here are in healthcare. I have never seen or heatd of ao many male Nigerian nurses in my life lol...and they are doing well. You know Nigerians can hustle and are hardworking....willing to eork weekends and public hols, compared to their counterparts...and the pay per hr on weekends and public hols is different from ordinary time...so you can imagine. That is why when you see a Nigerian nurse, and a citizen nurse, you wonder if it is the same job they do...cos Nigerians put in more hrs. 1 Like |
