Hello everyone,i am new here.I hav been TTC for 3 years.i had back to back evacuation after miscarriage due to retained product of conception.A year later,i ws diagnosed wit uterine synechiae a.k.a Asherman's syndrome.i went for adhesiolysis,had ballon fitted(foley catheter)to keep d walls of my uterus frm sticking together and did 3 months of hormonal therapy.TTC unsuccessful so i had an HSG again to see if the scarring is gone bt there is still some though my tubes were both patent.my doc placed me on clomid for two cycles;not successful in terms of conception and my linning is 5mm on CD 11. Doc said there is nothing more he can do unless we go d IVF route.Am so burnt out,sad and angry.i hav never heard of Ashermans prior to my diagnosis and nobody mentioned it as a possibility. I met a good woman(midwife) introduce to me tru a good friend who got her bfp witin one month (she has blocked tubes and infection, i startd using her in May and I concieved in sept but lost it at 7weeks ( she said dat my womb is high due to a DnC i hd in d past and i get plenty infection even thougn i take in it wnt stay until d infection is cleared) . But so sad im far from her cos im taking in and losin it in 5wks(cud it true abt what she said). HEavy itcy and fowl discharge during my 2ww. What shud i do nw, my hubby is an only son GOD WIPE AWAy my tears BIKO.

i think ur case is pretty straight-forward..treat ur infection and keep on trying..abi u dont want to let go of the infection?

having infection while pregnant, sometimes results to deformed/malformed babies...n isnt good for ur tubes n general well being...go to a doctor, do the tests [dont self medicate] and then clear the infection, you can also support the treatment with the garlic therapy n guifei bao [hope i got the spelling right]....many here hvnt concieved yet, u wey dey concieve and hv been told the cause of the miscarriage, yet u wan dey dance skelewu ontop the matter..............

i also suggest a hormonal profile..to check ur progesterone levels.......low progesterone also causes early miscarriage - its usually accompanied with spotting

I hail all Belle full mamas in d house n all those in d waiting room . GOD will surely give us beautiful surprises. Wanted to remain silent but some of d posts here got me worried. Pls if u are not sure of solutions don't post. Fluconades never n I repeat never has cured PID. It is just treatment for fungi infections eg candida. If u suspect a PID, Pls go straight to d gynecologist. Treatment is a standard 2 weeks for u n ur partner . I beg u all PID is nothing trival. It should be handled with quick and adequate attention. The treatment must include ur husband. For those using alternative methods it is advisable to do d standard 2weeks treatment first. Most of d infections that cause PID cannot be picked by HVS. Chlamydia n gonorrhea are major culprits. Scans sometimes don't tell d actual picture until it is chronic. A good doctor can recognize the symptoms . Knowledge is power, equip ur self with it. Dear mum to be sugah, I suspect u are experiencing bv bacteria vaginosis. Fishy odor especially after bd d smell won't go away even after washing up or urinating. Look for Klovinal pessary. If u live in Lagos alpha pharmacy sells. I don't know if garlic will take care of it totally. Klovinal contains metronidazole , clotrimazole and lactose bacillus spores which help to balance d pH of d vaginal. 6days treatment totally worth it. All d best

Pls to all the mamas who had had same experience, should I just go for the surgery once and for all or I should still try to unblock it myself? @apple19 I'm experiencing AS too but I'm trying to see how Serrapeptase and castor oil packs will help get rid of adhesions and I don't want to do a blind procedure, doctor recommended hysteroscopy since its not a blind procedure but I don't want to rush into doing any surgery

@Apple19, I would advise Serrapeptase (500 000 iu) daily.tHats if u can get it from Amazon, get the one of 250 000 iu & take one morning, one night, then do hsg( or flushing of tubes like dey call it) u would be fyn.
