Somehow, something in me tells me that both Saraki and the Dongara guy are Buharis candidates for this positions. I could be wrong though. The two positions they occupy are too sensitive to be left unprepared for by buhari unless he is really as dull as is being insunuated in so many quaters. . I believe that the national conference center decoy was tacticallly deployed to remove Tinubus gang of diehard loyalists from the senate chambers while the deed was in progress. If this was the case, then this is deft political manouvering at its peak. Obviously, somebody is desperate to whittle down Tinubus influences at the center pretty quickly. That said, Saraki as a senate president is a big step backwards and shouldn't be celeberated. Thisguy is thourouly corrupt, morally depraved and like Mark before him, represents in stauch terms, the ultra conservative rank of the misruling elite of this country.. it should worry, the bold displays of the very corrupt in this supposedly "changed" Nigeria.

Actually, he played a very crucial role by convening an APC reconciliation meeting at the same time the national assembly inaugurations were scheduled. . .a meeting he tactfully failed to attend, but he did not fail to sign and forward the proclamation required for the inauguration of the new assembly.

The seamlessly executed Machiavellian maneuver saw the Tinubu loyalists shepherded to a phantom meeting while Saraki and his crew with their PDP collaborators did what they had to do with minimum opposition. In response, the APC leadership challenged the legality of the proceedings, but, alas, Buhari did not hesitate to embrace the results.

I've always maintained that the Fulani would rally around Buhari to ensure that Tinubu's influence within the APC is downsized to a convenient proportion. Hate them or love them, the Fulani in Nigeria have continued to demonstrate a remarkable political acumen. They've long consolidated power in the north at the expense of the larger Hausas and other groups, and are able to make inroads into the south as needed. Meanwhile, the Igbo and Yoruba have mutually sworn that they'll rather sh.it bricks forever than work together to provide a formidable southern opposition to Fulani hegemony. What more could a Mallam possibly ask for?

Daura is a town in Katsina, with good roads and better electricity than most major cities in Nigeria can boast of. So u may call him 'dullard of daura'.. He's better the 'brainees of south.east n west' put together that has no major positive contribution in dere families, or streets, not to talk of dere states or nations.
I think some pple should visit Katsina and know that these Fulanis, 'malus' as some fools call them are the wisest of all in politics.
