babygirlfl:He/She posted at 11:27pm. I'm suspecting that moniker is owned by either of a two familylander; a male or female. The male logged out 11:13pm. The female logged out 11:21pm. The way he/she was on babyosisi's thread and was digging about her past, i'm suspecting the moniker belongs to the female. 5 Likes |

coogar: See the article you posted of ya people on the issue of marital rape in Nigeria. They need to add this question of marital ra.pe to the questions they ask Nigerians at the US or UK embassy, loll How can I reach Harriet Harman? I think she would do justice to this problem. Narrating how her husband daily violates her, Ayofemi told the customary court at Alakuko, Lagos, that, “he doesn’t care if I am on or not, tired or not feeling fine. All he wants, is to have his way whenever he feels like it. I am tired and want a divorce” showing the tell tale signs of wounds and scars she received from her struggles with her husband in his attempts to have sex with her against her will. http://dailyindependentnig.com/2013/04/can-a-man-rape-his-wife/ |

As usual a well prepared meal for the females folks..... Wife beaters....I wonder why nobody is talking about what usually leads to the battering...which in most cases is as the results of verbal abuse from the females folks...ooo I forgot, that their only mechanism of defence....... Instead of me to beat my wife,I would rather ask her to leave my house or I leave her house for her, same thing applies to the females folks too...stop using the excuse of I still love him or it because of my child..... 5 Likes |

an organized attack because of an innocent comment? This is another version of psycological abuse but a pity who speaks up for us poor men? Has there ever been a topic on psycological, emotional, verbal abuse men encounter daily both at home and without? I doubt.when often we know that these physical abuses on women are often reprisals of verbal abuse.for every one physical abuse on a woman, there are ten verbal, psycological and emotionally abused men who gulp in the pain as it weighs down on our poor hearts cause thats what we are supposd to do as men right?just as someone had mentiond earlier about a woman saying if a man cant take her abuse then he is not a man right?not justifyng any but do you know how equally damaging verbal, psycological abuse can be? there is no worse feeling i swear.you hit the bottle to recover a little.you walk with your tails tucked inbetween your legs, you walk face-down with the re-occourring thought, maybe she's right, maybe she's not maybe she's right maybe she's not...it is impairing.and you wonder why wives outlive their husbands by over 30years.well there you have it.i think we have been through many topics like this.@edwife if the tetesteron fueld aggression is not suggestive of the existence of true active feminists who have announced their presence to you then maybe you need to redefine your meaning of feminism.i suggest you lean more to the sentiments of their opinion if you want to keep your feisty friends. 4 Likes |

thetruthnl: as in.....?? i have never met any male so pathetic. i bet he knows the monthly cycle of all the ladies here with the way he tags on their underskirts. i also bet this is how the hermaph behaves in the real world..... Stillfire: be patient! marital rape only became a law in the west in 1991. so before then, no such law existed in the west too. in due time, we would fall in line in africa. we are about 100 years behind the western countries - the changes would come, eh? no vex...... 17 Likes 6 Shares |

Only FrancisTony and you guys are already shaking in your pants, what if I unleash all my male feminists friends on this site that one na cardiac arrest for una... Francis my MAN, ride on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm solidly behind you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anybody that doesn't like your posts, in the words of Oba Akiolu should go and drown in the lagos lagoon!!!!!! Anyway which due time? With the kind of angst you NL guys show here, I'm sure marital rape would only be illegal in the next 1000 years. You know the black man is almost like a millennium behind from the rest of the world. bukatyne:Don't mind these hypocrites. Nigerian men are more foul-mouthed than women even here on Nairaland and real-world isn't an exempt. There was a day, I was strolling and I saw a Keke Mar'wa driver(man) and a woman throwing vitrioks. The crux of the matter was because she wasn't looking while crossing. Keke mar'wa man was abusing the woman; -See as you be! You can't bath well! You can't even dress well! Your cloth is dirty! etc The woman couldn't reply but I felt that she almost cried. Trash! Even those agbero, conductors are damn good at abusing verbally. We get abused when we reject proposals from guys. 4 Likes |

VictoriaBee: I actually enjoy reading posts from both monikers. I needed to address that issue with edwife; I need to make her realize that her post was offensive and it was doing more damage than good. #No beef here LOL, you are looking for Ewuro's trouble, she finna cuss you out in Yoruba. I wouldn't make that post to Ewuro because she has never claimed to believe in feminism or women empowerment. So, putting down something she does not believe in shouldn't come as a shock to anyone. |
