Please do us the favour of mentioning the names of these 500 public schools.....for purposes of us being able to identifying them with ease... bandying an amorphous figure serves no purposeful end.
The secondary school in Rumuokwuota.....is within the environs of the Port Harcourt metropolis.... so one winders why it was ignored.....it stands out as one of the old secondary schools put up in the mid 1980s for girls......
I remember also along the several schools found along the Igwuruta-Eneka-Rumukwurushi Road axis.....several of these public schools also within the metropolis were left in their dilapidated state by your cult hero......

Let us leave Amaechi and education. He was excellent there. There is no debate.

For instance, in D-line/Oroworukwu area, we have three superb schools of Amaechi. I mean a small geographic location. Orogbum school, Nkporlu Oroworukwu and Oromineke girls. That tells you a lot.

It's true he was embroiled in a bitter feud during his tenure but for all his faults we cannot say he neglected education. His attention to education and health care remain some of his strong points as a governor.
A Governor that sought to pitch Kalabari people against the people of Bayelsa state? A Governor that tried without success to pitch Rivers people against Akwa ibomites and Abians? That man took billions to fund APC campaign when pensioners were being owed. That man took billions and looted it with the fraud of light-rail project. That man embarrassed Rivers state on March 28 and April 11 along with Afonja Peterside

Stop spreading lies. Amaechi fought for the Kalabari people to reclaim their Oil wells and allocation stolen from them. He fell out with the President and his party to fight injustice against his people. That is a man of the people.

GEJ reduced the allocation of Rivers State that is why Amaechi could not continue with the same momentum.

We are talking of a governor, Amaechi who went as far as repairing and developing federal roads in the state.

Amaechi built over 400 BRAND NEW schools accross Rivers state. I'm sure you've seen some pictures of the Amaechi schools posted on this thread. Simply put, no single governor in the entire Nigeria (past and present) has done up to 50% of what Amaechi did in terms of constructing schools. So I would advise you to kindly get your facts right before you disgrace yourself further.

Anybody trying to criticise or mock Amaechi in terms of construction and rehabilitation of schools is a certified clown.

You have NOT answered ANY of the questions I posed with credible data.

I hope you can & will answer them in due course.

Thanks.

Aresa posted pictures to show you that Amaechi is not a magician. He can only try his best to maximize the resources at his disposal.
While Wike was Minister of Education, why didn't he do something about the school. The point is you deceptively started the thread to paint Amaechi black, but your effort yielded no positive response - except for the (NAH)Natural Amaechi Haters group.

Seriously, I don't know what he was thinking when he embarked on that kind of unnecessary green elephant project! It's safe to see his arrogance and stubbornness didn't allow him to back down even when it became obvious that project was not feasible. The arrogant takes no correction.

Go tell that to the man in Bourdillon and the one from Daura... Rivers people ain't buying this dude...

Some voters in Rivers State barred Gov. Chibuike Amaechi yesterday from entering their polling units during accreditation for the governorship and house of assembly elections. This is coming on the heels of the denial by the Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) that there were fake materials at polling booths in the state.

The denial was contained in a statement signed by the National Commissioner in charge of Akwa Ibom, Cross River and Rivers states in Port Harcourt.

In one of the polling units at Omagwa in Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State along the Owerri-Port Harcourt Road where Amaechi stopped over, one of the young men at the unit asked the governor to leave because that was not the governor’s polling unit.

The young man told the governor that even if Amaechi asked his security aides to shoot at those at the unit, the security men would not be able to kill all those who gathered there.

The governor asked the policemen on his convoy to arrest the man but they refused to carry out the arrest on the grounds that the young man did not commit any electoral offence. An embarrassed and angry Amaechi told the policemen that he would have them redeployed for failure to carry out his instruction.

Earlier, while on his way to Ubima, Amaechi stopped at State Primary School, Rumueme, Mile 4 in Obio Akpor but the voters asked him to leave the polling units because he has no business there.

One of the boys, who challenged the governor, seemed to be well known to Amaechi as the governor easily identified him by name. The young man told the governor that he couldn’t leave his polling unit at Ubima in Ikwerre to intimidate them at Obio Akpor. But Amaechi had told newsmen after voting that he stopped over in these polling units to reassure voters who were being intimidated and harassed as well as shoot at.

Amaechi described the elections in the state as a sham and blamed the violence that characterized the elections on the absence of police and soldiers at polling units. Amaechi and his wife, Judith, voted at about 2. 00 pm at the polling unit in front of his father’s house in Ubima at Umuigwe, Unit 14, Ubima in Ikwerre.

The governor who seemed to have adhered to the advice of the Brigade Commander of the 2nd Brigade Port Harcourt, General Essien given him a fortnight ago, retired into his father’s house after he was accredited and waited until voting started.

It would be recalled that during the Presidential election penultimate week, the Brigade Commander asked the governor not to go around polling units but to remain in his father’s compound unit voting commenced but the governor decided to go back to the Government House in Port Harcourt.

Stop spreading lies, will gej cut rivers allocation and ameachi didn't threaten hell, go and get your propaganda right.

Is construction fg roads NEWS.

90% of roads constructed by Akpabio's administration were fg roads.

FTR, Ameachi only performed during his first tenure, from 2012 his future ambitions consumed him, he started saving funds for his presidential campaign.
To make things worse, after he joined APC, he channels funds there, even paid Osun state 2months salary. Abandoned ongoing projects.

You can't deny the number of abandoned roads in rivers state, can you
