It's possible that Eden and the OP might have added a lie or two just to make their stories convincing.
We however should not be disillusioned by the statement that customer is always right.
I've seen a situation where a customer slapped a customer service officer of a telecom coy because she refused his advances.
A customer also took a phone and started snapping the pictures of a teller in a bank in order to report him in the media
In these cases, the customers were arrested for nuisance and security reasons respectively. There's a limit to customers right when it's not reasonable.

I blame the EcoBank staff for not apologising and hen escalating to his superior for 'matured' handling of the situation.

I also blame Eden for not calmly reporting him to his superior and possibly head office if they both are not remorse.

Forgiveness and tolerance should not be far from our heart during fasting and every other time.

Please note that I'm not affirming that any of the stories is false or not. I wasn't there. I can only give my own opinion.

Seems you've never worked with customers before. No matter how irate or unpleasant that customer can get, you handle the customer like a professional. Besides, two wrongs can never make a right. There's no justification for being rude to a customer.

You don't get it do you? It is not in our place to decide what is wrong or right in this issue, it is for the right authority to take up the case, investigate and pass the right judgement.

Whatever a customer does is of no concern to me except maybe when a scene breaks, most times I don't even wait behind to watch what happens next. But Chasim was able to track her movements within the bank. Is that what he went there to do?

I have witnessed the way Ecobank treat their customers, I closed my acct with them in 2013 cos of their customer service. Had to tell everyone around me that its the worst bank when dealing with customers. Maintaining my GTB, Diamind and fcmb; I can boldly tell u diamond and gtb Customer service is top notch compared to Ecobank. They should work on their staffs. Kappish

One stupid girl is aboutta make me close my First Bank Account for good. I no even follow her word...I go just switch sharperly...GTBank has been very good to me...there was even a time they helped me out on a stringent issue...

I am more disappointed in you. It is not Eden duty to look after the CSM job/career, that is his sole responsibility and he is old enough to bear responsibility for his actions.

That's why I added that the story may have been exaggerated. But no doubt the staff must have been rude to some extent for the customer to lay this type of complaint.

Whatever may had transpired between the customer and bank staff, simple apology from the CSM could have earned ECOBANK more honour. When a customer is not satisfied with the service given him, he may react abnormally. That does not mean the csm should react also
