A helipad is a glorified concrete work, marked with paint for a helicopter to land. If built on the ground, it should take about 1 trip of stone, 1 trip of sand, 15 bags of cement and a gallon of yellow paints. One can throw in a few lighting features for night landing. My estimate is N200k or less if direct labour.

The only difference with roof landing is that more reinforcement is needed. So, it is not a big deal. The big deal is that he owns a helicopter which costs a lot to maintain while his constituents wallow in extreme poverty.

The most sensible post here. People think helipads are built of diamonds. It's a glorified concrete block marked with paint. I doubt a helicopter weighs more than three full GEEPEE tanks. So if anyone cares to know how much, they can compare it to the cost of building a tower capable of supporting water tanks.

guy u are kind of corect.but the actual cost is less than 1m .it is just a concrete hard surface tha is painted in green with an H painted in white on it.people are very myopic.it will only cost more if it is elevated or ontop of a building because of needed reinforcement
