deleyi20:U are definitely free to do visa application yourself or engage an agent. Agents don't add any frills still... |

izykvision0: Getting ready eh! The countdown has begun...Get ready for a longggggggg flight! Well you have just 1 kid sha, so you and your wife can exchange. Word of advice...bring AV cord along. You would hate to buy 150 cord for $20 (might be even higher in a capital city). How far accommodation? Have friends here? |
Re: General Australian student Visa Enquiries Part 2 by NNBB2012: 1:02am On Jul 08, 2015 |
BKings: EA doesn't accept PTE A they only accept either IELTS A or G for assessment. You stand a better chance though of scoring high band in PTE Academics for the purpose of migration points which has nothing to do with EA assessment. |

sanmibukunmi: Check the SOL/CSOL list to see if your occupation is on the list and as well check the assessing authority to see their requirements. |

It's the Townsville 400 this weekend...it's something like the Indy 500. Everyone is geering up. Here is a pic of the big a** trucks bringing in the cars. No wonder people were lining up on the streets.
Check the SOL/CSOL list to see if your occupation is on the list and as well check the assessing authority to see their requirements. [/quote Thanks....I have checked the Sol/Csol... I saw my occupation dere. I also did the assessing test nd I was told I am not eligile for the 189 independent visa but eligible for the 190 state visa....I don't know what dt means. |

Re: General Australian student Visa Enquiries Part 2 by NNBB2012: 8:18am On Jul 08, 2015 |

What is the occupation and the code? Possibly you saw it on CSOL list, which means you are only eligible for visa 190,state nomination. |
Re: General Australian student Visa Enquiries Part 2 by bossladymo1: 8:45am On Jul 08, 2015 |
izykvision0: You might not get replies from Airbnb...guess the Nigerian factor....but lets see how it goes for you. Otherwise, you can try other options. If you get a furnished apartment, you might not get one. The AV cord was nkt there when we moved in. So if you find yourself in such a situation, you go just dey vex sey u gats buy am with $20. Yeap, the red yellow and white one. |

Good day everyone in the house.i have been following this tread for a while and i will love to seek for some advice. I have an Advanced Diploma in computer science in an institution in south Africa plus i have been working in the computer industry for the past 8 years after my Diploma. My wife has B.ed in Accounting and she also has close to 4 years experience in teaching here in south Africa. My question now is with my wife experience and my status, can i apply for 189 skilled visa as the primary applicant? if yes what is the duration like ?How do we go about it? Any general advice will be highly appreciated. Thank you cc ferdimako , bossladymo1 |

Your wife is better suited as the primary applicant. Secondary school teacher is on the list. Go through it for the assessing body. She should write English test and assess her skill. 1 Like |

Hello Fam, I really appreciate the loads of information we share here. It has tremendously helped me understand a lot of things and guided my decision making process. Before i finally make an application, please i need to know the living standards (weather, costs, job opportunities, accommodation) of Perth. Is Perth a good place for students. I saw a lot of positive reviews about Perth online but I want my fellow Nigerians to share their candid thoughts or experiences. Thanks. erictack203 bossladymo1 NNBB2012 ferdimako |
