Now if u all read my post yall will understand that d isolate I wrote isn't about being cooked up in SE,its bout social communication, I fit stay man compound may I no dey talk with everybody ma..... I know a bunch of Igbo ppl, we relate well, but na all hi hi tins, once dey go in, you won't see em till d next day, That's d isolate I'm talking bout, acting as if they are endangered or sometin, not wanting to relate wif oda ppl bu demselfs (this is from wha IV seen mind you, make nobody talk nonsense), the only time I see a difference is wen I'm at home in delta,(not biafra land!) Dis also leads me to think dat d problem d igbos hv is wit d yoruba ppl and any NORTHerner... AND by d way if you think d only important interaction btw two ppl is in d buying and selling department, you really need an orientation in social communication ......... Chuna1985 this is d isolation I was talking bout

Tell me exactly when did you guys start this clamor for seccession. This noise started after GEJ electoral defeat.
Your clamor to the best of my understanding is a ruse that you only developed after you realized you lost the political game.
Leave the SW out of your delusion, when the SW find enough reasons and the means to exit Nigeria, they wouldn't be seeking the support of any other nationality like you folks are doing.
You are making it to look like without the tactic support of the SW, you guys can't do it on your own.
SS and SE delegates in d last national conference firmly demanded for regionalisation.
It's not a matter of election loss aunty.

Up until the Mid-West invasion (and subsequent botched invasion of Lagos/SW by the Biafrans), the SW was prettymuch undecided on whom to support or whose side to take. But the invasion/coup made it clear to the Yorubas the sinister intentions of the Biafrans which was manifested in their decision to invade our lands. From thereon we took our destinies in our own hands. Again I repeat, our destinies are not intertwined.

Yorubas couldn't have been neutral when you lots were harbouring Northern soldiers in your region, and the attack to Eastern region were being launched from your region. Yet you refused to chase the Northerners away or allow the Biafrans do that.

Awo even from the link you posted in his dubious way made it clear that he was for one Nigeria, but doesn't support Ojukwu or Gowon. Such was the dubious and treacherous nature of the man, if you were for one Nigeria, then obviously and by default you are enemies of Biafans who were against one Nigeria.

Yes we know your destiny. To be subservient to your Arewa masters, I guess that's the definition of " wisdom" tact in the "suffersticated" lands, it's your albatross to carry, but Ndiigbo must not and cannot partake in it.

o

You wailers can wail from now till tomorrow for all I care. We as a people are strategic and visionary, hence Awolowo's refusal to buy into Ojukwu's suicide mission which prematurely terminated the lives of 3-million of his own kinsmen. Awolowo knew Ojukwu was just another Igbo chest-beater empty vessel who had inadequate weapons and wanted to use Yorubas as sacrifice lambs. Like Kiss Daniel sing, "Laiye, ko Jo". cheesy

Tacit not tactic.

I dnt think the Op is Igbo cos he didnt state it.

I think the yorubas wouldn't because this system suits them perfectly.
How can you tell us 'tacit' is the only word fit in that sentence? He might have erroneously typed 'tactic' instead of 'tactical'. Only the drummer is the ultimate interpreter of the messages he conveys in his drumming.

Why do we want to leave Nigeria?

Because we are ambitions people that are hardly satisfied by yesterday's successes. Because we know that we shouldn't be competing with Arewa and Odua, they are no competition out all, if after starting afresh in 1970, we are once again ahead of them. We know we can compete with the rest of the civilized world power for power, rather than be wasting time in mudslinging contest in Nigeria.

We know who we are, and we know where we should be without the heavy stone called Nigeria tied to our legs and slowing us down.

Take a look at this: https://www.nairaland.com/2444018/pains-loss-nation-trapped-retrogressive

This is who we are. In Biafra such crude talents will be refined by a central government policy and given wings to soar and take Biafra to enviable heights. We have the human resources to be a first world country.

You are ahead after 1970..how?? Why are you deceiving yourselves..the most damaging lie anyone can tell is the lie told to oneself..do igbos have the most brilliant, the most distinguished, the wealthiest individuals?? be frank about it.

And why are you intent on carrying 5 out of 6 SS states along to your biafra..what makes you think we can get along..what is the relationship btwn us?

https://www.nairaland.com/2263635/south-east-south-west-south-south-lead-attainment

Of course, we are ahead.

The wealthiest individuals in Nigeria are those who have links with the government and have enjoyed govt monopoly policies, eg Dangote, or those that has benefited from ND crude oil wealth, Otedola and Alakija.

They are not innovators, inventors or revolutionaries, that tells you a thing about the entity Nigeria.

On the average, the Igbos are better off than all.

The most brilliant? I don't know, Adichie seem to be the only globally recognized Nigerian intellectual now. Igbo states of Anambra, Abia and Imo have been topping JAMB and WAEC stats. SE states of Imo and Anambra have the highest cut off marks for enrollment into unity schools.

Distinguished? Well Kanu remains the most decorated Nigerian footballer.

Nobody is carrying anybody, we are simply leaving the door open for Eastern non Igbo groups.

Reasons? Shared culture and histories between the Ogoni and the Ndokis, between Ikwerre and Ohaji, between Ogba/ Ndoni and Anioma, between the Annang and Ngwas/ Ikwuano, between the Ndoki/ the Ibibios and Ibani Ijaws, the Aro/ Cross Rivers, the Ikwo/Ezza and the Ekoi, the Afikpo and Northern Cross river groups. It's a chain of interconnectivity and relative peace and understanding built over decades of co existence side by side as neighbors.
Common religion, etc.

We can go at it alone, but we recognize that a heterogeneous nation United by shared goals, history, culture, religion and purpose is strength.

you assume its 'easy' to get d drones you speak of, if biafra should get weapons to do maximum damage, what do you think stops d NG govt from doing same?? D west will support NOBODY but those they can benefit from, as long as corrupt leaders are here, let's face d facts, as long as USA n BRItain can make money from NG, they won't involve demselves, if kanu has contacts, so does buhari n co....... Russia, isreal, china, at d end of d day don't expect drones, just expect a few rifles. Except kanu has SERIOUS Political relevance on d league of Ojukwu (respect!) Or above, no serious weapon will fall on his hand, Boko n isis hv their muslim brothers worldwide donating, What do you hv, even 2 billion naira cannot buy drone o.
Funny!
Bros, recreational drones can be bought on ebay! Do your research. Military drones on the other hand is a different ball game altogether.

However, don't make these things sound like rocket science, they are not.
It is quite easy to build a small solar-powered drone and remotely pilot it using a smart phone with the proper apps. Infact, even I can deploy and track a drone using the same technology used for car tracking either via satellite or gsm and you wouldn't know it.
What stops a person from deploying a kamikaze drone to explode on impact?

Even a gyro plane or copter can be reconfigured to deliver ordnance. I-Pass-my-neighbour engines can be used to build and power small propeler driven drones. These things are not even difficult in this century, it is we that make them seem impossible.
This is why I say we shouldn't go down the path of war cos the nation will practically turn upside down.

As for the western nations, they will support both sides because it enables them sell their weapons and they will want the war to drag on as long as possible for maximum profit!

Take Iraq for instance, US supplied Iraqi govt with arms, then supplied syrian rebels allied with ISIS with arms too, the rebels passed the arms to isis which in turn used it to drive off iraqi army from mosul. The iraqi army left 2300 humvees and military equipment for isis to take over, so effectively arming isis. US then told the govt that they need to replenish the stock taken by isis.

What of Libya?
They are doing same and arming both sides!

Abeg leave matter, let's just pray we don't descend into war, if a referendum is needed then so be it, if confederacy is the solution then so be it.

Yeah, protect you from annihilation by Turining you into Cowards, accepting your slave status without putting up a fight, like we see in Kwara. I guess cowardice is a mark of common sense in Odualand.

Awo panicked over the presence of Arewa soldiers in Odualand, and like a true coward, decided to play second fiddle to Gowon. Only Cowards willing accept to play subservient role to anyone.

" It is better even from a historical perspective, to fight and be conquered, than to be conquered without putting up a fight"- George Orwell.

Ndiigbo must leave this union one day, that way, you will have more room to apply your common sense( Aka cowardice) with your Gambari masters like you have been doing since the day Oyo Ile was ransacked by the Nupes.

See daftness, the smart man does everything possible to ensure his home does not become a battle ground, for even in victory it can only be Pyrrhic. Now imagine if you lose the contest, what will you feel like? Just what Eboes are going through now, psychologically, they are always under siege,

USA has participated in 2 world wars, Korean war, Vietnam war and countless others, at what time did bombs go off on homeland soil? In your warped theory that makes them cowards. Yorubas ensured that our homeland never became a theater of war, as we have experienced what war means during our own civil war and external aggression. We are a people of history and we were not ready for any senseless war. Eboe never had any empire so they are welcome to try their hands on modern day empire building such as the failed Biafra project.

Yoruba Generals decimated your failed empire as all your attempts to drag us in failed with bombing of civilians in Lagos (a very friendly act?) and accepted unconditional surrender from Ebo generals after your CinC fled with tails between his legs.

The truth is you need our consent to make any successful attempt to form your own country otherwise you won't be foaming in the mouth here and feel bitter we did not join you on your suicide mission. For now that consent remains withheld until you lot sign an undertaking of good behavior henceforth grin

Can you even remotely refer to any history about eboe people written anywhere before the coming of the colonialist, the best you can have is Aba women riot 1929 long after amalgamation.

For your information Ilorin was not lost on the battlefield, and the Fulani cavalry could not be contained because of internal rebellion of several provinces under the suzerainty of Oyo empire including Nupe/Borgu present day Niger state and Dahomey present day Republic of Benin. At what time in your history did your ancestors have that kind of rech and influence?

Igbo achievements before Nigeria,

Relatively peaceful co existence with our non Igbo neighbors.

A highly evolved mini republics with democratic flavour and community policing.

Highly developed art works in Igbo ukwu.

Yoruba achievements before Nigeria:

Getting ass whooped by Nupe and Fulanis

Building a village empire of clustered mudhouses with no regard for ventilation or living spaces.

Incapable of evolving a democracy, roaming about like savages looking for each other to subdue and rule over.
In capable of co existing in relative peace with each other, let alone with non Yoruba groups, having local fatal wrestling matches with each other they termed kiriji wars.

Ife artworks were not better than those of Igbo ukwu or Nri.

Imokay:

Can you even remotely refer to any history about eboe people written anywhere before the coming of the colonialist, the best you can have is Aba women riot 1929 long after amalgamation.

For your information Ilorin was not lost on the battlefield, and the Fulani cavalry could not be contained because of internal rebellion of several provinces under the suzerainty of Oyo empire including Nupe/Borgu present day Niger state and Dahomey present day Republic of Benin. At what time in your history did your ancestors have that kind of rech and influence?

You are being delusional about the historical facts on the so-called Oyo Empire.
