[s]Bishop Kukah has been around a long time . . This guy has earned his stripes as a well rounded erudite scholar versed in the study of Nigerias political economy. A political scientist by training, Kukah has been on the national stage right from the Abacha days as the dioceason secretary in Kaduna. And he was just a priest then. He is well known as a bridge biulder, a peacemaker, a problem solver and an independent minded priest whose interjection in national affairs are driven by. A strong desire to avert mayhem, save lives by providing the government of the day with alternative policy initiatives to push this unfortunate country forward. Kukah was very vocal during the Abacha years and this earned him a place in the Oputa panel.

Obviously, this priests intentions are very predictable; to play the role of a peacemaker. It is very disheartening to witness an ungodly bunch of APC irritatinly empty internet hirelings led by one uncultured NgeneUkwunkita attempt to tarnish the hard earned reputation of this man. All he asked was for the rule of law to be respected and for all functions of government to be focused on, and not neglected for a wild goosechase.
