5 Things i learnt from the match
1) Memphis is a beast. Man.utd fans should expect more from him.
2) Our defence is atleast improving everyday. Smalling is top notch just dat he passes the ball too much to Romero.
3) Darmian is not qetting much protection from mata down the riqht flank. He has been yellow carded on all our games.
4) LVG should qive hernadez more playing time. I love his movements in the box
5) Fellaini would score more goals than Rooney, if started in a striker position.

This morning, I've just being reading over net that Chelsea have hijacked Manchester United's deal for Pedro and have agreed terms with Barcelona with the fee already been paid on Tuesday night and Pedro already in London for a medical at Chelsea.

trully bad news..just becos manu didnt want to add additional 5m..well,lets see what lvg has up his sleeves..i neva felt pedro was trully d striker..we need a top 9

Apparently according to sky news LVG has decided that he doesn't need Pedro again and the club pulled out of the deal.

I can't say I'm not dissapointed but we have to trust the managers decision.

Who knows maybe something else is in motion? Muller (Even though the chances are slim)

Why are people uncomfortable with blinds at centre back.

He has been partnering well with smalling and I like the dude.

I don't even think lvg would sign another centre back and I am comfortable with that. Our defence are already getting used to each other and the rhythm is visible. Let's not spoil the whole process and philosophy Brugge couldn't even have gotten one goal if not for own goal.


Mata is not defensive minded and does not have strength to muscle players. That's basically why Mourinho sold him. And that's why darning over stretches himself. Hmmmmmmm. In that case then mata should be brought to number 10 while we play young at 7 and delays at 11. Mata at 10 Rooney at 9.


I still think we need Muller. We missed plenty of chances. Depay, Rooney and tiger all missed great chances.

If Depay had scored his goals he would have scored 4 instead of 2. The remaining 2 he missed even looks easier to score than the 2 goals he scored.

Dissapointed we're not getting Pedro.

But Mane is a good young player (23?) who can still improve and was good last season.

Reports are saying LVG dropped the Pedro interest because of Adnan's and mata's performances. So Mane might be a good option who will be satisfied with a rotation role.

If we are fortunate to get Saido Mane, honestly we've got a diamond. Age-wise he would be a good signing. Moreover he can play well as No 10 based on Van Gaal's philosophy (that he prefers the No 10 player to be a second Striker) .

Pedro is officially a Chelsea Player now, I think we should shift our focus on how Saido Mane is gonna improve the Team if the rumor about his imminent signing is something to believe. Or talk much about how the new graduates from the U21 could improve the team.

That's the point; signing Mane would be a big catch! He can play to the philosophy of the Coach as a no 10 (second Striker) .

Also DDG needs to be loyal to the club and the fans that supported him even when the English media were ripping him apart. He should have just signed a new contract but had a gentleman's agreement with the club that he would be sold latter. The same thing we did with Ronaldo.

Also Madrid know they are getting one of the top three keepers in the world and they're offering 13 million? Come on! That's an insult to United. 13 million is nothing to man utd. Woodward could just go to Asia and look for an official Noodle sponsor for us and we'll get that 13 million.

We are going to make more money if DDG stays and helps us in the champs league.

I would rather see him leave on a free next season than watch us accept that ridiculous sum.

Are you rating Madrid over United? Lol! You are getting it wrong dude! I wasn't a Fan of LVG but I'm gradually buying into his philosophy. LVG is very blunt and direct, he's plain and wouldn't play hanky panky at the expense of his integrity. He's a top notch - an experienced Manager and one of the best in the World.
If we keep signing to improve the Team, then what's the essence of running an Academy? We all blamed Sir Alex for letting go of Pogba for an ageing Legend (Paul Scholes). Most of Barcelona Players are product of their La Mesia. The Class of 92 has proven to us that; Academy Graduates of United deserve to be given chance(s). Individual talent can't make us win title. Salas, Moses, Cuodrado are top Players before they signed for Chelsea, what of now? Bench Warmers? Di Maria is also a great Player, but was he able to prove himself at the Premier League? Falcao? Mourinho boasted to prove LVG wrong with Falcao decision; and has he been able to do that?
We need to give our Academy Graduates opportunities to display and grow their respective talents - Pereira, Lingard, Wilson, etc deserve playing times to develop their potentials. LVG has good record with nourishing potential talents which he had proven in the previous Clubs he managed!
Teamwork supersedes individual talents - hence we need to be patient and allow the Players to work out a perfect chemistry together. Once they gelled up and fully immersed in the philosophy; you and I gonna praise the Manager in the end!
