Lemme throw some light into this hypertension thing

110/70

The 110 is systolic blood pressure
70 is diastolic blood pressure

Diastolic is the one that really bothers the Dr... And when it's increased after 2 consecutive measurements at different times sometimes by different people then the person can b placed on drugs ... But then again there some are blood pressures you don't wanna crash (let me not bore u with all that details)
Now when only the systolic blood pressure is increased its called isolated systolic hypertension and it's seen mostly in elderly people...
And the treatment is usually lifestyle changes like reduce salt intake (sodium), increase in fruits and vegetables.. Some say also grains.
