Theres no point pouring invectives on this man.

Hypocrites around and about. When its convenient you praise a politician, when its not you abuse him. When will you understand that politicians are the same? The intent is the same, the only thing different is the nomenclature with which they present themselves to Nigerians.

The logical thing for Nigerians to do is to demand for an evidence to prove the lodgement of funds. which bank?

We all know opposition party system in Nigeria is purely built on propaganda, lies and falsehood. No political party can absolve itself of this.

Allegations without facts is fiction. Allegations prompted out of mere hearsay is not worth the attention of any Nigerian, even for a second. Many politicians are in love with fiction.

Its pointless abusing one to please the other.

Think my people, Think....!

well u can ask people who knows about wat happened to d last governor dat tried to streamline d payload, and Oyes dat u mentioned isn't part of d civil service, it's just a youth empowerment programme dat cost d state only #200million every month n it's a very effective way of reducing crime in d society. But d major problem d state has is not just civil service alone, it runs 2 universities at d same time wit one jointly own by OYO n d oda having about 6 campuses, and the state has to equip them concurrently since they are still far from being well equipped, so u see, dis present situation will only help d state to grow better cos every decision to cut cost now will not b met with resistance by even d opposition.
Please leave University matter out of this.
The said 6campus university was built by Somebody and Lautech has been there for ages without any problem.
Aregbe is just a plane thief and a bad manager of resources.

Pay this people for God's sake, it is not your money.

It is indeed quite laughable.

So the state government has never paid salaries before?
Is that why they need to verify that they actually have workers who need to be paid?

Or could be that it has been such a long long time since they last paid workers, that now, they no longer know who needs to be paid?
WTF? sad

There is sooo much evil and twice as much idiocy in this land.

But I think pdp is better off as opposition party because they will do more Dan dat if they are ruling

You are even more selfish and devilish than Aregbesola himself,
so you believed that it is the party that determines if a governor
perform well or not, therefore Aregbe should continue to owe the workers because he is
in APC.
Well I guess Fayose in Ekiti state is also an APC man.

I still think a serious government will discard mentality and streamline his payload. I read SMALL osun has on of the largest civil service in the country an this was done by aregbesola himself with the numerous Oyes
Well, what you read was inaccurate. If you want to know the states that have largest civil servants, go to the Niger Delta states, you will be shocked.
Secondly, on the issue of OYES, your argument doesn't add up. This first set of OYES was 18,000 on the stipend of N10,000 =N180,000,000 monthly from February 2011 to January 2013 (he claimed that he was using security votes to do that) and were all laid off. Not that they were absorbed into the civil service. The second batch, 2013 to 2015 were not even up to 12,000 in total and they are still being owed up to 10 months arrears.
Thirdly, he only retained few of the second batch to continue after their two years since he couldn't recruit another set and he didn't want people to tag the programme as failure.

Governance is really a shady business lately, CBN will say A, state governors would say B, opposition would say Z. CBN claimed the money would be paid directly to the accounts of the workers after the state had fulfilled their end of the bargain only to hear now that the state now has access to the said fund, how much more one yielding interest. So sad, this is at the detriment of the expectant workers. Only God will save us from enemies within.

You say 200 million every month is "just".
That amounts to 2. 4 billion per annum.

Well let me tell you what smarter states did with theirs.

They purchased patrol vehicles and communication gadgets for their state police force which served as a great incentive for them to fight crime.
200 million can get 50 Kia Rio cars (using Enugu as an example) which can be stationed permanently at various outposts in the state.

That way you reduce unnecessary recurrent expenditure and conserve money for capital projects which are also a source of employment.

Trash. Go and get yourself informed about Osun State. So, Osun State Government didn't buy patrol vehicles for police? You never heard SAS and ROBOT launched simultaneously in Osun State?
You never heard about Osun State Government partnering with banks to empower drivers with new vehicles for their commercial activities?
If you could refer to that payment of stipend as wastefulness, that means you don't understand anything about governance.
