This is pure lie
Presently the CRR on public fund is 75%
This means that if Aregbeshola fixed N100 with any commercial bank, the bank will keep N75 with CBN at zero interest and only retains N25
But the bank will have to give Aregbesola interest on the entire N100
So any bank that keep state fund as fixed deposit will surely make a loss
Now get it clearly, bank can keep the fund as normal deposit at very low or no interest
But not as fixed deposit

CRR for public and private sector deposits have been harmonized to 31%.

[ Are you in Osun, and why is the verification just coming after the bailout fund came, why not earlier quote author=shaddoww post=37790560]The verification became necessary wen there was disagreement btw d government n d NLC over d total number of civil servants in d state, d government claims it spends close to 3.6billion on salaries n pensions, so it was jointly agreed dat d government should do a verification exercise which is even been conducted by d civil service commission, d situation in Osun is not as worse as been portrayed in d media n from d list of states collecting bailout u can see dat it's not peculiar to Osun alone, just recently OYO was even saying it needs more money despite d bailout. you are a fool. This issue of Aregbesola non challant attitude to pay osun workers is far beyond PDP and politics play out.
first,it was the accusation by aregbe that Good luck Jonathan reduced osun allocation. this was later learnt to be false by the gullible(dem illiterate) after the swearing in of buhari.
second,it was him coming out to accept that he do not understand wat is happening as per the financial mess DT osun found itself.
Third, the bail out came and all he could think of is to while away the precious time of hungry nd highly indebted workers by making them to undergo a rigorous screening tagged verification by fixing the bailout fund for the time the verification will last which could be end of this year.
finally, this man call Aregbesola is big disgarce to the osun people,a big disgrace to his party and a big disgrace to his faith..

Your papa na fool, your mama na Yimbezile .. with that out of the way , Several months ago, a group of people collated data and facts that Osun's allocation was actually reduced when Aregbe began campaigning for second term , it was reduced by 35% , then the issue of cheap crude came up and the allocation that used to be 4.2 Billion became 1.5 Billion , I know you will blindly deny that, but it's fine with me.

But d major problem d state has is not just civil service alone, it runs 2 universities at d same time wit one jointly own by OYO n d oda having about 6 campuses, and the state has to equip them concurrently since they are still far from being well equipped, so u see, dis present situation will only help d state to grow better cos every decision to cut cost now will not b met with resistance by even d opposition.
LAUTECH workers are being owed 14 month salary. And he has not contributed anything in term of physical project since he came into power in 2010. When he know can't manage d school with is other responsibility why not go ahead with the previous agreement of the Oyinlola administration that will transfer the sole ownership to Oyo state. I don't know how Uniosun is managing there own issue, but I pray God will bless our VC (Prof. Gbadegesin) the man is a blessing to us.

2nd;No bank in Nigeria can give as much as 14% rate

we know people like you,the unwailing wailers! all you have to understand is that Federal government never reduced osun allocation, all states of the federation including FG itself was affected by the oil price slide.
Now,the same aregbe said that "he will not wait for federal allocation to pay his workers". unwailers, tell me what developmental project DT aregbe has done apart from propaganda. Mr unwailer, come to osun and spot out any " completed" project for me...
Mr man,u need to be guided, osun was ranked among the top 3 most indebted state of the federation (the other two are equally APC control state). inall this, all Aregbesola could think of is to embark on verification at a period the workers are happy that PMB has come to their aid. The question is what has he been doing all dis month?
