Sammypraise:I really dont know, but the people at the VAC are human beings and they know shit happens. if you're in Lagos, and where the original receipt is is truly far (outside Lagos) then u can go with the photocopy of the receipt + photocopy of your passport data page. I don't know for sure if it will work, but it should work. Or better still, give vfs a call to present your case! 1 Like 1 Share |

After going through the atip/gcms online tool......i think its not compulsory the person requesting for the information is a permanent resident or citizen, as long as he or she resides in canada legally he or she is eligible. Does anyone have a contradicting information to this? |

Re: Travelling To Canada Part 9 by ayooluwatoni(m): 9:52am On Sep 17, 2015 |
ajaereogechi: No medical call too? That's serious but not new. Don't worry, it will end in praise. We've had on this thread people that waited for over 3 months and even some that waited for over 6 months. Keep yourself occupied and don't think about it too much. Remain positive, and when the thought of something you felt you didn't do right (about your application) comes, flush it out immediately, don't allow it stay.....because it only brings negativity (as you cannot correct any error on ur app again at this time), which will weigh you down and allow you accept defeat......even when you're victorious! Cheers.....your TRV is on the way! 2 Likes 1 Share |

There really isn't much you can do than to wait till you get a response from them.. You have already submitted so anything been said wouldn't change nothing...Just remain hopeful and see the outcome...As said by some people here, there is nothing like a perfect application. Hope you get a favorable response... ajaereogechi: |

I applied for study visa via online route about a month ago. I submitted an upfront medical along with my application. I got an update to my profile yesterday that I have passed medicals, but my documents are still been reviewed. Please any idea on what that could possibly suggest. Because ordinarily when u are asked for medicals it's a sign your documents are okay. |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 9 by teesboy: 1:29pm On Sep 17, 2015 |
ajaereogechi:It takes less or more than 8 weeks for an application to be processed and since you are a paper applicant you can use the tracking number on your application receipt on the VFS website to track once or twice a week preferably wednesdays or fridays to know if your application has been dispatched and if your application has exceeded normal processing time of 8 weeks you should consider opening a case specific enquiry. Goodluck |

To show avaliability of fund should i have all the needed(full tuition + leaving for pgd one year 10,000cad) fund transferred to my personal account or just show evidence using his own personal soa or his company's soa 6. Britney247:The application is still being processed and passing your medicals is just one of the numerous requirements and when your documents have been fully reviewed you should expect a passport request imminently. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Grateful2015: Mehn! Lots of questions!!! Lolz. I'll start from 2. 2. Your dad can present any of his SoAs, but me will advise you get his personal savings/current whichever has more than 6 to 10M bal, and you can combine both. But if you'll be submitting his company's SoA, you will have to submit his company's CAC certificates too. 3. That is not true. A lot of people got their visa on a virgin passport! Having travel history does not guarantee TRV, but a well packaged application will get you ur TRV. 4. No you don't have to notarize any document. You can only add photocopy of his international passport and visa pages. You can add photocopy of pictures with him 5. If you can have all the money you need transferred into your account, that will be super! If not, your dad's SoA + his sponsorship letter should be sufficient. 6. No! Photocopy 7. No, you dont have to do any exam. I wish you best of luck 1 Like |
