Lol seriously You think that Tinubu is richer than Akpabio,Saraki,Melaye,Oduah,Andy Uba?

You dont seem to understand the enormity of the battle!!! Only Akpabio's money would cancel out Tinubu's money!!!

if you re-read my last paragraph, I mentioned that I had two ways of defeating the Tinubu money politics.
You have only just mentioned one of them, but there is no guarantee that PDP moneybags will beat APC moneybags in that game. Also remember they control the federal government so they can easily sway the moneybag politics in their favour by leveraging their nearness to the federal coffers to get the upper hand over the PDP. So I will not advise PDP to rely on this.

There is a far superior way of dealing with this emerging threat.

APC only has to reinforce party supremacy and let all its members know that any defections no matter what happens with the asset declaration case will be seen as the person giving up their seat. They should also enforce that the party expects each member to act according to its goals and directives. Now, APC needs to research carefully and throughly the rules surrounding succession of the Senate President in situations like this, and anticipate the possible exceptions to such an incident as the upcoming plan of the PDP. Those little exceptions are what will be capitalized on. Any Senator trying to cause division should be promptly dealt with. These politicians are greedy. They will rather collect NASS salary than be kicked out for following another party's dream

Buhari does not control the judiciary hence his body odour or whatsorever has no bearing in this case.Saraki's lawyers will keep on applying delay tactics till his tenure runs out.Dont forget the status quo will be maintained till the supreme court rules on the matter.

I think you are making a huge mistake here. Northerners head the supreme court and court of appeal.
They played their part infrustrating the WASC-less suit filed against Buhari in the dying days of GEJ.
GEJ acted like a real mumu all through his presidency, conceding unnecessary grounds, employing unfit INEC boss, not suspending the INEC boss when he was found to be colluding with the opposition, generally showing immense fear of the north.

When GEJ was the president, the South controlled the executive, the north controlled the judiciary.
Now that GEJ foolishly gave away the presidency without putting up a fight when he was in control of the military and paramilitary forces of the nation, in the face of massive child voting that took place in the north; the north is now in charge of both the executive and judiciary, and I can bet you Buhari will be relying on this judiciary to protect him and his political friends if the going gets tough, afterall they are all hausa-fulanis.

I make bold to say that the suggestion by Tonyebarcanista has already been anticipated by Tinubu and his cohorts before the commencement of the assault on Saraki. They already have an antidote for the op's suggestion. Remember they are in control of the executive and the judiciary.

Anyway, like I wrote before there is a watertight solution to this. The MONEY POLITICS is also a solution but it is not watertight

Bros is Saraki a southerner? Whether they control the judiciary or not there is no how this Saraki's case would be concluded before 2019!! Lawyers have their way of delaying trials
Re: The Battle For Senate Presidency: PDP Has The Upper-hand by TonyeBarcanista(m): 9:51pm On Sep 23, 2015
I think you over-estimate the might of APC think-tanks. The truth is that you CAN'T use the judiciary to bully everybody. Saraki's case with CCT is because some people were aware and brought it up so as to nail him. Others may have cases but the CCT is not the same with FHC. Legislative elections has nothing to do with Executive. The reason why APC is angry is because Saraki not only disrupt them, he also refused to acknowledge their principal officers.

Let me remind you that prior to June 6 election, the APC nominated Lawan and Gbaja after their mock election. I went to the drawing board to see how we can do a Tambawal. I came up with a strategy which I shared here. What happened? Both Saraki and Dogara emerged. Do you think people are not readÍng? Do you knw that I received knocks and mockery from those that think APC "have a plan"?

See bro, APC haven't thought of this. If they had, they will know that they can't stop it. PDP only need a minimum of 6 additional Senators, 3 Kwara, 1 Dino , one guy from Ondo and Yerima. That's all to send APC to the background. Tinubu is smart but he is not the smartest. No MONEY can reverse this. PDP might not have thought of this (same with many people) but I decided to bring to consciousness.

This article by Tonyebarcanista, really got some people dazed leaving them with red eyes.

Trust me, They never thought of it. they are shocked at its possibility. He presented it so really that it drove away sleep from their eyes. Some went on emotional attacks.

For the sake of Nigeria, we need PDP back. Else, this country will be in trouble with these kind of people having all the say.

TonyeBarcanista:
The travails of Abubakar Bukola Saraki has opened a new chapter in the Senate and possible a vacuum in the office of the Senate President. We have to be honest with ourselves: Bukola Saraki has lost the moral ground to preside over the Senate Chambers. He has to step down voluntarily, and allow for someone without a moral burden to fill the vacuum. We are not unaware that the ruling APC is already scheming for replacement of Saraki. We also cannot feign ignorance to the fact that the APC is still bitter that senator Ike Ekweremadu of PDP emerged Deputy Senate President. They are plotting to oust him also and install their "choice". The PDP must wake up and take the battle to APC over full control of the Senate. PDP must seize full control of the red chambers.

The Reason APC and Buhari Want Saraki Down:
Make no mistake, Nigerians of good conscience want the senate president to answer for the 13 charges against him, and some want him to step down from his exalted office on moral ground. However, APC and the Presidency want Saraki to go down so as to have their stooge as Senate President. They are not interested in fighting corruption. If they were, they wouldn't have brought Saraki into the Senate in the first place. If Buhari was interested in fighting corruption he wouldn't have withdrawn the N2.8 billion corruption charge against ex-Bayelsa state governor Timpre Sylva, and even gifted him with the party guber ticket for the December election. If Buhari is serious with corruption fight, he would be prosecuting Pa Abubabakar Audu on his ongoing corruption case instead of campaigning for him to return to Lokoja Government House in order to continue where he stopped in the alleged looting spree that went under him as governor between 1999 and 2003. Buhari and APC want Saraki to go down simply because they wanted total control of the Senate and also to share Senate standing committees from the comfort of Buhari's presidential lodge and Tinubu's bedroom in bourdillon road.

The Upper-hand Is With PDP:
The Senate composes of 109 Senators. The PDP has 49, while the APC enjoys 60. Of the APC 60, about 12(including Saraki) are seen as rebels and has been ostracised by their party. The PDP must meet these pro-Saraki APC minority group to present a PDP candidate from NC as Saraki's successor(anybody but David Mark). The APC rebels should be rewarded with membership/chairmanship of choice standing committees. With 61 senators(49 PDP Se+ 12 APC) behind PDP candiate, the party stand as "Majority" to defeat whoever the gods of APC present as their candidate because APC will be left with 48 senators. A very wide majority. Considering that PDP need a minimum 55 senators for this battle, 61 will be more than required. This is enough to humble APC.

Saraki Must Make Up With PDP
As for Bukola Saraki, he is unfortunate to be served the same meal he served former president Goodluck Jonathan and PDP. However, he has to repent and respond to his alleged offence. But, he should be told that the only way he can redeem his betrayals towards PDP is by supporting a PDP candidate to succeed him. This will also defeat the evil mechanism of Buhari and other APC gods.

Finally, the PDP must not let go of this rare opportunity to legitimately control the Senate and have the Umbrella standing in the office of the Senate President. Buhari will have no choice but to work with PDP-led Senate.

Let's teach APC how to play politics.
