I've done as you said bro, the phone is on now but is on boot loop.. on the xui screen.. what next please.

karmanaut your help is also needed pleasr
Congrats.
The hard part is over.

Can you boot into recovery?
If you can, wipe cache and data, see if that works.
If it doesn't flash cwm recovery and flash a new ROM via cwm.

Yes i thought about that... Won't it be awkward?

When theres a button on the fone for that, I go come put am for screen? After paying 15k

Think am naah...

So? Isn't the most important thing being able to use your phone? I have a 5" chinko phone that i don't like the way the buttons are arranged. I presently use onscreen buttons despite the fact that the default menu buttons still work

It's not a software issue... It's simply the CHARGER. Look for a good and original charger and check the voltage compatibility! Goodluck!

The exact voltage input... Some chargers voltage are too high and or too low.... And if the charger compatibility is Ok, then it's the battery... Either of those... Or an I.C issue... Whch u must give a competent phone repairer to check the phone's charging I.C.

Check ur phone specification... U'll see the voltage input... Check the charger's output! If the voltage corresponds, then it is compatible. Goodluck.

Good day Engineers in the house. Nice job you're doing. keep it up.

My problem:
I use a Gionee P2S phone with two sims (airtel/etisalat). I prefer using airtel connection for data. But I observe that I can only browse sites, I can't download, can't update my apps, mails don't drop, some apps don't work etc. But if I switch to the etisalat for data everything starts working.

So I called airtel's CS, was told there is no restrictions from their end, that probably its the phone. To confirm, I remove the airtel sim and put in a friend's Android phone (Infinix hot note) and it was working perfectly, I am at a dilemma.

Please, help. what do I do?

Your assistance will be highly appreciated.

create a new access point for the airtel sim.

Input JUST THE APN: internet.ng.airtel.com

leave every other option blank

save it and activate for use.

Good day guys. Please I have been having this particular problem for a along time now, particularly, it deals with nairnland.

I use Samsung galaxy s4, each time I download a picture from nairaland, I can only view the image immediately after downloading it. Once I leave the download page to my phone gallery, the picture will be no where to be found.

when I visit my download folder on file manager, the picture will be there but I can't view it.

how do I address this problem?

NB: not only on nairaland site, it happens on some other sites too. but mainly on nairaland site.

THANKS.

If your device is rooted edit your build.prop and input this line of code in the last line:
qemu.hw.mainkeys=0

This tells Android your phone doesn't have hardware buttons so it calls the on screen navigation bar.
Works on all android devices from 4.0+
You can customise (theme, rearrange) the on screen nav bar with the Xposed modules: Xstansa ,or you use Xperia/AOSP nav bar (that's the name). Just search the Xposed reppsitory.
Or if you don't want yo edit your build.prop you can use the Xposed module UDN (Ultimate Dynamic Navbar) it makes a concealable nav bar, á la some Huwawei tablets.

Cheers.
