Well, I don't know why he decided to quit but I don't think Oliseh has anything to do with it. Emenike has tried his best. Problem is that he's not in form as he used to be.

Do not blame oliseh for this.Emenike hasn't scored a goal for the super eagles in two years and he realized that Oliseh will stop calling him because of his poor form and thats why he retired. But the good thing is that we have better strikers than Emenike.

I think oliseh in his attempt to extinguish all sorts of player vs coach power struggle/politics has led to these premature retirements.

I guess these players were expecting special treatment from the coach but got none. Farewell emenike. Leave the se camp for the more competent lads.

i think putting the name nigeria in quote and refering her with phrases like 'as long as Nigeria remains', makes me think he now subscribes to 'Biafra' owing to dis-interest somewhere somehow with the team and country at large.. we'll see how that works for him in the short-run
