Uefa has announced that the 32 clubs that competed in the Champions League last season shared almost €988m in payments from UEFA, an increase of €36m from the 2013/14 season. Usually the winner takes home the lions share of the money but that was not the case last season as runners-up Juventus were the big winner, earning €89.1m, while winners Barcelona only got €61.27m. The reason behind Juventus’s windfall was due to the fact that there were only two Italian clubs in the competition and Roma went out in the group phase. So Juve got the keep the bulk of the money for Italian teams. Barcelona on the other hand had to share the Spanish market pool with the other sides who took part in the tournament, which was why their share was much smaller. On a league basis, La Liga was the big winners with there four teams sharing €180.6m, followed by the Premier League (€154.8m), Bundesliga (€140.7m), Serie A (€135m) and Ligue 1 with €108.4mh te Uefa Champions League Payments By Team (in Euros ): 1. Dadehmola: Observing. Can't even follow reading everything sef. Rooney is picking up. He had a very good game the last time. Although there was a period of 20 minutes he lost confidence in his abilities and started making wrong passes. It's like sometimes the pressure is on him knowing well after two bad touches the papers would be ready to slaughter him. He is the most attacked by British media. His sharpness has increased. He needs to work on his speed which was one of his greatest assets. If he got most of his speed back, he would score over 20 goals easily. The speed will return if he stays fit. But he will need to do something during next summer if he wants to go back to Rooney of before. Something like going to Kenya to run in the mountain for 6 weeks. Lol If he does that then we will get the Rooney that was going to single handedly win the FA Cup in 2007 but for gods of soccer. He is just 30. I remember FA Cup of 2007 we lost to Chelsea 1-0. The way Rooney tore through Chelsea midfield and defence made one think he was Maradona. Despite unlucky not to score and United lost, he was awarded MOTM. That performance was possible because of his athleticism. Wished he could get it back. |

This is how Wikipedia reported the FA Cup final 2007. At half time, Chelsea managerJosé Mourinhomade a like-for-like substitution, bringing on Dutch winger Arjen Robben forJoe Cole. A minute after the restart, Rooney produced the most exciting action to that moment, dribbling round two Chelsea defenders before aiming a powerful shot towards goal, but Petr Čech managed to make a convincing save. Rooney set off on another run ten minutes later, carrying the ball a good sixty yards towards goal only to be tackled by the last Chelsea defender,Wayne Bridge. Ryan Giggs then flashed a volley barely two feet over the bar from close range after a cross from Paul Scholes, who picked up the game's first booking a minute later after fouling Lampard. From the resulting free kick, Drogba curled the ball around the United wall and off the outside of the near post. Rooney set off on another dangerous run soon after, dribbling round both John Terry and Michael Essen before having the ball taken off his feet by Čech. With neither side doing enough to score in normal time, the game went into extra time for the third consecutive FA Cup Final. United's best chance of the game fell to Giggs from only three yards out after Rooney slid a pass across goal, but the Welshman couldn't get proper contact on his shot and Čech got down to make the save. Giggs appealed for a goal, claiming that the ball had crossed the line in Čech's arms, but the linesman didn't flag and refereeSteve Bennettwaved play on. Television replays appeared to show that the ball had just crossed the line, but only after Giggs's momentum had pushed Čech backwards into his own goal.[7]After the game, United managerSir Alex Fergusonclaimed that Giggs had been fouled by Essien just before he took his shot.[8] https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2007_FA_Cup_Final?_e_pi_=7%2CPAGE_ID10%2C1881008064 This game has always been in my memory. Sometimes I wonder why Rooney doesn't play this way. The only English player who is trying to play like this is Barkley. But he is not coming even close. One of the problems of Wayne is his attempt to try to play with little movement on the pitch. That is not his game. It's not his game to try to play intelligently like Ozil or Berbatov. One person who tried to change Rooney was Capello, I think he didn't change him rightly. His goals went up but it came at a price. Little movement meant Rooney's muscles will become relaxed. Does Arjen Robben stay in one place? When I watch Robben, he is always moving everywhere like everybody wants to give him the ball. That keeps him even fitter than normal. 1 Like |

Na so we see am. Cowardly children who can't stand the heat in the kitchen run to call mummy. Funny how most times they instigate shii, including that one who claimed he worked in a bank overseas but said he "quited" and was made to "sound bragging this afternoon" then they start reporting when they are taken to the cleaners. Maybe now we can start debating amongst ourselves the way we used to before the "invasion" Mancs I hail sha. |
