Exegesis....where was your hsg done? Was the result a positive one? I mean patent tubes. How many days has it been?

It's quite surprising, i remember,in my case when I did my hsg at El Lab, mild cramps afterwards, no bleeding at all. I was able to go the market and I made dinner. The whole experience was not bad, I mean its not something i will shiver if asked to do a second time.

I was asked not to take any drugs before the procedure but I was given an injection before the procedure.

Please meet your doctor and complain again and again,I don't see how its normal or seek a second opinion.

Had 2 take Felvin yesterday and 2day and d blood is not showing signs of stopping. Google is saying it isn't normal doe am not nauseous or have a fever wich dey say if accompanied wit heavy bleeding and cramping isn't normal. Went 2d hospital wit my husband on Thursday but d doctor said its normal 4 me 2 bleed but 2day is Saturday and am still cramping and bleeding. I noticed d cramping gets worse if am hungry. Pls has any1 experienced dis? I don't want d doctor 2 make me luk foolish if I go there again on Monday. My husband isn't finding it funny bcs we r supposed 2 hv used dis wik 2 bd since it was my ovulation wik and it's bin awhile since we bd bcs am always spotting bcs of d ovarian cyst, even afta af. Am sori 4 d long post.

well, I don't know much about d bleeding ooo, I did mine but just a drop of blood, and dat was all, no cramping, I even bd d next day , it is well, pls if it persist don't hesitate to go back to ur doc ooo, it's ur health we r talking about here. About felvin, I usually have severe af cramps, and I always take it, it works, just last month, I was in serious pains n called my gyn if I shld take it, he said a big no, felvin, ibrupofen,diclofenac etc are not good for ttc women cos it messes with ur ovulation, Infact, in some cases can stop u from ovulating, that I shld just take pcm.

@exegesis, I also bled for days after hsg. I cramped to the extent that I cudnt walk straight for 2days. Can't remember what I did or took to feel better....But the bleeding ceased sha.

i'm saying dis should incase urs was painful too, I guess d flow wld stop after abt 3 days maximum but pls try and get a good gynae dat wld be down to earth and u cld ask questions wether he deems dem as foolish questions or not. Always ask questions pls, it is ur right!

Well for me, I did d painless hsg and just spotted for a few hours. It shall be well

@ Tenderchic plz how much is the clear blue opk? my cycle varies BTW 28-30 days but I usually feel d ovulation pain on day 13.I started charting from day 8 - 15.what do u advise plz tank u as I await ur response.

I think you should start from CD 8 to 17 my Dr said that the day u have surge in the opk is not the O day. he says O can occur from that day and in d next 4 days. so if add extra 4 days to Cd 13 that u normally experienced pain it will get to Cd 17.

I suggest u start bd earlier bf That CD 13 up to Cd 17.

It was a consultant radiologist who read d scan dat said dat it's a left hydrosalpinx. Meaning my left tubes r swollen probably due 2 PID and I was amazed. Didn't c him bcs it was my husband who went 2 collect d result. Was cramping 2 badly 2 go. Am amazed bcs I've never had PID b4 neither has my husband. I find it amazing bcs i did swab and hvs a month ago and my husband did sfa yet there was no infection or PID from d results. So where did d PID come from? Cant even suspect my husband of foul play due 2 sum personal reasons and d fact dat we've bin 2geda 4 months @ home on leave and d nature of his job. And dey said d PID is so chronic dat it has made d left tube swollen wit fluids. Just cant beleive it. And I took antibiotics 4 ova a weak b4 d HSG. Wen I went 2 a private hospital 2c a doctor concerning d pains he prescribed antibiotics and told me not 2 worry bcs my right tubes r patent and I still have a gud chance of getting pregnant. Now d cyst is not d issue bcs according 2d doctor it's regenerating or regressing, can't remember his exact words and during mid-cycle, d cervix tends 2b closed. I nid 2 treat d so-cald PID 2 get my left tubes back 2 normal again. Will go back 2d hospital on Monday.

@exegesis, wen u need to check later if the left tube is now free, pls do d painless one, my hsg result came out as multiple fibroids,left tube adhesive and right tube blocked, and still d procedure was as good as painless
So pls if u will need to do HSG again, pls try painless.
Pls get a 2nd opinion from a doctor on wat is safe to use to stop the flow and reduce d cramps, pray it stops soon like other mama's here as said it will, sorry dear

But I usually take felvin during my period becos haaaaa! My pain na war o! Pls advice me on another thing I can take that will subside that severe pain the way felvin does.pls

@ajuwarhodes , Hmmm, my own pain the come with vomiting and stooling ooo, na ground I d dey cos will have room for rolling on d floor, before I got married sef, sometyms na injection for vein my bros d give me before d pain d subside cos drug no d work, to tell u how serious, when I got married sef, felvin was my companion ooo, 2 d extent I took in n was xperiencing implantion cramps I didn't knw mistook it for af cramps I just d take overdose of d felvin, cos d pain was unbearable. My dear, according to my gyna, no matter d pain, just go for paracetamol ,that just what I used during my last af pain ooo( even though e no stop completely) it is well, very soon all this will be history my dear.

@Legendsmum na Garki hospt Abuja oo, one consultant like that, the man don tey for d biz oo, am telling u, we learn everyday cos dat was my only solution for d pains felvin, @ times if I don't take it on tym, will have to double d dose cos make d pains stop quick , didn't know it was nt good.

Hi,I bled too after HSG until my period came. The bleeding was light. I bled for two weeks. I called my obgyn and he said a little bleeding but not supposed to last so long and that maybe they injured me or my fibroids were causing it. I didn't have any cramping though.

@exegesis, I don't think painful hsg or bleeding afta d procedure means blocked tubes o cos mine wasn't blocked at all. Even as I had a vry horrible first hsg experience I redid d hsg in a diff clinic, it was jst cramps dis time around not evn spotting, only the hsg dye flowed out of me and d result was same as the first "patent tubes". so I still think it depends on d sono person that does it. Anything for the babies ooo my dear.
I heard gynapharm and reishi from Kedi works for PID, mayb u shud try it too.

Sprinkling fertile baby powder on us all.

Hmm..i come in here to read all the time.no day goes by without me reading.and all you mommas are wonderful.i can't tel you how many times I've cried painfully and laughed joyfully at the things I read here.

After my midnight prayers today.i slept and had a dream that I was in the middle of a very high building. I was stuck dere and really crying becos there was no way out.i looked down and saw a man telling me to jump that he will catch me but I knew if I jumped we will both break our legs or be badly injured.i didn't know wat to do.as I looked up I saw women.lot of women holding out their arms(im crying as I type this,i don know why)and this women lifted me up.some took me by the leg and some by the waist and some by my hand.but there was this particular lovely woman in their midst.she was the one really into seeing that I was pulled up.i hugged her so much and i started crying tears of joy on her shoulder and she kept petting me.i kept saying you are such a good mother.i brought out my phone to get her number and that was when I woke up.
I thought of this dream since I woke up not knowing knowing what to make of it but it finally dawned on me...hmmmm.its you guys that raised me up.you are all pregnant and you brought out ur hands for me to join you.

OK,I will try not to use it again,I didn't use this last month not becos I didn't want to, but I didn't buy early and shops were all closed cos it was by this time last weekend.I used panadol sha, but the pain was intense, it didn't work like felvin

Hope you used the predicte at the right time,if yes forget all this ovulation predicte most of them are not accurate except for clear blue which is good. seeing a stretchy egg white mucus is a clear indication of ovulation. Just baby dance during this phase
