Yet you can't produce a governor. Who are you people kidding?

The agbaje/ambode case is an open/shut case.
if they try to, it is people like you that would still complain. after jonathan lost igbos(non yorubas) lost interest in governorship election and didnt vote. this one is not them say then say

i can see you have never been there. just them say them say. even a petty trader pays tax of about 2 to 5k and that also contributes monthly. go sleep jo. the only thing yorubas hold tight is local govt, tax collectors(including agberos) other state agencies and little investments. the bulk of businesses is by non yorubas(mostly igbos). stop arguing what you dont know

lol they don't pay their taxes, stop lying. MAYBE 25% DO, BUT WITH THE LAXED LAWLESSNESS IN THESE MARKETS, YOU DON'T.

Do any one noticed what's up with the almajiris states grin

That's why they are so hell bent on fighting the call for resource control. They bring the least to the table but they take more during sharing due to their high number of LGAs.

Negro, igbo names were also on the ballots, but the population of Lagos does not amount to 20% to generate an igbo governor.

Even non-Yoruba/non-igbos wouldn't vote for one.

I don't understand why Yorubas aren't agitating for a divided Nigeria.

Even when Nigeria is divided, Lagos is still going to keep rolling.

Yorubaland is going to keep rolling.

How?... Lagos will immediately lose the Headquaters of many blue chip companies!. The population will be arround 2 Million!.

This fool focus on your useless and worthless imo state. Leave Anambra alone we have nothing in common with you and where you come from. And in your widest imagination you think Anambra with Onitsha and Nnewi is not the highest in reality? Let us for once forget about a report anybody can concoct and put up online without proper research.

Abagworo:

With Onitsha and Nnewi, Anambra could not surpass Ebonyi and nobody is faulting that but can only see Imo State which has only enjoyed 4 years of non-PDP rule. IMHO Anambra and Imo fell short of expectations but Anambra is worse going by what the Government can harness iGR from.

Lagos won't lose anything.
Just as Igbos aren't moving to the east to invest right now, they'll still be in Lagos afterwards. However, they'll now just be international businessmen.

I'm still surprised that commerce states (Abia/Anambra) can't compete with Lagos, but with non e-commerce states (Oyo/Ogun).

Anambrarians here should not fall for the trap Ileke is setting.

The most important thing is that SE cumulatively trashed SW.
Who or who in SE that contributed most to see to this, is simply academic and an internal affair.

I'm not from either enugu/anambra but I have been to nnewi and enugu severally.enugu is an organized city with a well difined industrial settlement. You will see standard factories like alo aluminium, juhel pharma, golden penny, 7up, cocacola, Nigeria breweries etc can't really remember more now.

Do you know how many car companies have their offices/depot in enugu? Pegeout, Toyota, kia, Nissan etc ( are all these in nnewi?).

How many companies are even in nnewi aside those two you will see when coming from ozubulu and innoson motors?

I'm only being realistic here, go to emene industrial layout, you will see lots of industries.
Enugu is a top industrial destination, enugu is a silent insutrial city ( by Nigeria standard).
stop exposing south east industrial development.
Allowed them to believe that we have nothing in SE. cheesy

Time shall tell .

Do your math. SE is not anywhere close to the SW cumulatively.

You can't compare 61bn with 300bn+......

We know Yoruba/Northern businesses in the SE also helped your figures.

The GDP has grade the Top Five (5) Richest State In Nigeria, this top five are states that has contributed greatly to the nation economy over the years. Below are the Top Five (5) Richest State In Nigeria 2015

1. Lagos State: the GDP of Lagos State is $33.67 Billion, this state has been seen by most people outside Nigeria as the capital city of Nigeria, so it is the New York of Nigeria. It is the home of opportunity and it has been seen as the state that has the large city in Nigeria and west Africa.

4. Oyo state

Anyway, Yorubaland still has space for improvement.

Ogun is an upcoming e-commerce and IT hub. We need visionaries like Fashola.

well , I don't care if anambra is lagging behind ebonyi, the most important thing is that the east is leading the SW.

Anyway, maybe you should ask pezienza or investment2013 what happen?

I don't believe in the useless report. It's fit for dustbin because it does not reflect reality. Common sense should tell you that big economy implies big IGR.

Bro, pack one side. Enugu is the most Beautiful city in the SE, but when it comes to industrialization, it's a Two horse race between Aba and Onitsha.

Look at Ebonyi that has a higher GDP than Anambra, does it now mean that Abakaliki is more industrialized than Nnewi and Onitsha?

Ebonyi has 25 solid minerals they mine and also they are into agriculture

This is an NBS report. when I called Peter obi a fraud for under remitting our IGR, you peter obi supporters were crying. Is it not a shame Ebonyi and Enugu generates more IGR than Anambra. I hope with obiano, Anambra will measure up in the next 2 years.

I see you guys trying so hard to separate Lagos from the SW's combined IGR.

THAT logic is flawed.

Onitsha is the busiest e-commerce region in Nigeria, why is it not competing with Lagos?

Why is it included in SE's calculation?

we didn't add PH so you must not add lagos grin
