There is a functional port in the SS/SE.........that's what your brothers have been shouting about. There's also an international airport int he eAST.

Do you expect a Yorubaman to do all the work?

Stop including SS by force. lol.

Only SS can have an international port, SE is well, landlocked. That's why y'all are trying desperately to include PH/Rivers State.

Actually, there isn't a functional international port in the SS. You may need to reread my previous post especially the second sentence. I believe you are smart enough to comprehend my point, you just read it in a hurry. Just take your time this time.
Regarding including SS, it is only common sense to assume that the SE would find a port in the SS more convenient for their freighting needs than one in the SW or further afield.

Honestly, maybe its been long since u visited.Besides have you visited abeokuta and ota, they are argueably the most developed parts of ogun. Its funny you are even mentioning mowe as one of d most developed parts.

Ur right dt amosun tried. D poster probably drives past ogun state when travelling out of lagos and hasnt bn to abeokuta city centre. Fact is compared to fashola (donald duke & akpabio) everyone is now subpar, when it comes to changing d face of a state.

The main issue though is dt d money amosun is spending to develop ogun is oil allocation. He needs to create wealth from within his state. Then we will give him all round praise like fashola.

Are SSners complaining about it?

With such high allocations, you still expect Yorubas to build you an international airport?

From page 1 all the way to the current page, all I see is tribalism. 70% of those comments comes from individuals still being fed or those without a job. What has being a Yoruba person done for you? What has being an Igbo or Hausa person done for you? Hatred and tribalism will not get you anywhere in life, the rich and wealthy knows this; that is why Dangote, Adenuga, Kalu and Dozie will accept any opportunity to make a profit regardless of if the business is coming from an Hausa, Yoruba or Igbo person. Why is it those with little or small assets the ones always treading the tribal path? No wonder the rich keeps getting rich and the poor are getting poorer. Eve Ondo or Delta would benefit from the presence of a spanking new international seaport, and they are not in SE. So stop making it sound as if, only one group of people have the brains to use a port...Lmao

As a matter of Fact, Western Nigeria officially has 2 International seaports in Lagos (Tin Can and Apapa)
And unofficially has one international seaport in Benin (Cotonou). That cotonou port belongs to Nigeria Abeg.... grin

With a spanking new deepwater seaport being planned in Lekki (to be one of the biggest ton the continent)
So you better realize that the SW is here to stay.

State IGR contest today data and presentation from nbs, I have always been of the opinion that Enugu is one of the most developed city in the South East and South South Region,if not the most developed, this again proves that the abundance of natural resource or heavy allocations from the federal government is not enough to kick start the ground, states like Akwa Ibom get 3times more than what Enugu gets get federal Gov,but take a visit to both states and see which looks richer, comparing adult literacy, access to basic amenities, hospitable and general workabilty of the city. Enugu bu Obodo Oyibo!
Akwa ibom being a minority state were being marginalized for long , with the budget now it may take them time to meet up with other states in terms of development , that's why I hate this country , minorities are suffering ,only but one day...''in other news.'in Akwa ibom ''

courtsey Igbo importers and traders in ladipo and computer village.

igbo importers paid import duty to FG, NpA, not lagos state government. most of the taxes those traders pay goes to FIRS sef.

FG make over a thrillion naira annually from the ports. You will be deluded to think the Lagos state government IGR is driven by ibo traders in ladipo / computer village, trust me , their tax to LASG is not up to 1% of Lagos IGR.

Well yes, hence the previous Akwa Ibom state governor pushing for the Ibaka deep sea port.
Read my post again. My point was never the absence of international airports, but a variety of routes and operators which isn't entirely down to the individual states to arrange and authorize.

See another lies from y1bos -- All of a sudden Enugu Airport is under construction again. Na wa oh. Is it not the Airport with swimming pool runaway, that was commissoned by your stealing daughter and all of you were making mouth, as if it is the next DBX, boasting of how the upgrade will affect MMA. What now happened?

Haba after how many years and it is still only Ethiopian Airline that is plying the airport? Shows how dry and unprofitable the route is and this lay credence to the untold poverty in SE and the reasons multinationals and investors will never invest in that gully eroded land.
