kettykin:Expectedly there isn't much economic activity in Ekiti and Osun states in the SW,hence the low figures there but overall the difference between the five states of SE and SW is actually N3.8bn and u people deliberately left out Lagos because in your warped minds,Lagos has ceased being SW..and are u implying that the contributions of Yoruba individuals, SMEs,CEOs, banks and companies alone in IGR in Lagos is not up to N3.8bn out of Lagos' N276.1bn IGR..so whatever way u look at it, the SW region has the highest IGR. This thread should instead be one that calls for sober reflections for you guys as u can see Anambra with all the noise of largest Market in Africa, Obiano this,Obiano that, can't even measure up to states like Ondo and Ebonyi without any visible big markets. This further buttresses the points we tell most of you that make noise that u control Lagos economy, that having shops all the place in Alaba, Ladipo etc, like u have in Lagos, doesn't translate to much when discussing IGR and contributions.. I hope u learn but as usual I expect the chest-beating and empty vituperations. 4 Likes |

superstar1: I just taya o, by the way they were all rejoicing, saying the SW fools won't come out now that we have run away from the thread, I had to look at the stats again to confirm what my eye saw, cos SW alone covers the remaining regions with some change left. Its just worrisome that people that went to school still thinks like this. To make matters worse, they are even fighting themselves, Enugu Vs AnambraVs Ebonyi this guys are clowns. 2 Likes |

belzabull: Truckpusher and other ikwerres come and see the greedy and covetous nature of y1bo flat.heads at work. Is it the place of the y1bos to rename another person's town or city? Start with the renaming of Ranger's Avenue and all other places in SE with colonial names. We can see through the greedy of y1bos and the subtle but serious effort to turn PH to their usual and mor0nic no man's land slogan 1 Like |

Chanchit: They never had any unity or united front before the British came. The British named them y1bk for ease of administration and banded them together. How do you expect unity within a people where some of them is a slave -osu caste. Thursday are always fighting over who is a true y1bo. They are just a handful group of barbarians. 2 Likes |

kettykin:We're comparing regions here. Lagos is part of the SW and the most advanced and developed of the region and you left that out, saying you're making a fair comparison. What's fair about that when you included all the States in the SE in your comparisons, including the ones doing well and the ones not doing well. I'm not saying only Yorubas are responsible for Lagos IGR but the question I asked u was: "Are u implying that the contributions of Yoruba individuals, SMEs,CEOs, banks and companies alone in IGR in Lagos is not up to N3.8bn out of Lagos' N276.1bn IGR?". Answer that honestly and I'll know you want an intelligible debate. 2 Likes |

Enugu my state is a silent achiever. We don't make noise about what we can do, rather we allow our collective actions to do the talking. I was born and brought up in Enugu State. I know what is going on. Many fools have asked, “how come does Enugu generate such amout internally monthly.” Probably, they are expecting a kinda paltry amount like Ekiti, The State Of Osun and their likes - especially in the north. But, to their utter disappointment; they are crying. Come to Enugu State and see for yourselves. Is it development in infrastructures, is it human capital developement, is it industrialization? Come and see for yourselves. I recently traveled to my home in Nsukka Local Govt Area of Enugu State, with my guys from Uniport. When we arrived close to Ogige Main market Nsukka, because my house is close by. They were supprise at what they saw. They asked if that was my home town(village), I said: yes. They said; they were expecting to see timid village as my home town. I laughed and told them, that there are places less developed than my village(home town), but those places are never timid; that the people there have acess to steady power supply and even pipe-borne water and bore-holes etc. If not that I will be going to Zamfara State for NYSC on 28th of this month, ie wednesday. Nothing can ever take me to the north. Those people are leeches, and they are backward. God bless The Coal City State. God bless 042. |
