To the mama asking about brown discharge,it's implantation bleeding I had it too.try to relax o. don't stress yourself physically,then lay down as frequently and as long as u can.the baby is trying to find a get a comfortable position.take ur prenatals and eat/drink fluids well.manchybabe it is well.I don't have appetite at all and at 7mths gestation I am barely showing yet I am not a ftm.but God dey .baby is doing fab.don't worry

Nohin do you, nohin go do baby, God & nature has a way of compensating for the gap... barely ate enough throughout belle that my friend's sis was even getting worried (later stage that we became acquinted) & was cajoling me to eat... Baby came out 3.7, so did my previous belles,

Do not force food down your throat, if you are like me, it will result in what happened in 17 AD..

I am Precious, a retired nurse and I will say that, brown discharge could be a sign of miscarriage or may even result from a condition that is unrelated to the pregnancy. It is advisable to seek medical attention for any brown spotting that doesn't fit the criteria of implantation bleeding however no two cases are ever the same. Hello mama, I don't think you should worry about the baby's weight, my baby came @39wks +1 day and weighed 2.75 (He's a perfectly healthy and beautiful boy )

Ehen, so I went for scan today and I was not happy with the result I got.
I am 37 weeks gone cos Dr gave edd 10 Nov while the first scan I did gave me 14 Nov but to my surprise today the scan edd was given as 7 Dec 2015 +or- 2wks
Secondly EFW 2.4kg
GA 34weeks
I am sad cos the baby is small with all the eating and drinking.
Pls mama's tell me it's nothing to worry about

thanks alot. I'll prefer private because of waiting time- general hospital delays.. but would love a private hospital with experienced doctors not all these young ones.

I started feeling funny around my tighs on monday so i taught i ll go into labour. Monday night throughout nothing happend. I woke up on tuesday morning with so much energy so i did some clean up and off to my shop. Got to the shop around 8am and started arranging the shop for the day's business. 8.30am my water suddenly broke like a bursted sachet water.

So when I saw the water I was happy and confused cos there was no contraction. I now called my DH and told him that water just came out. Around 8.35am I felt the first contraction so we went home to get my things so we could go to the hospital. Got to the house I started picking my things, had a cool shower with my daughter, I was just catwalking in the house with mild contractions of 10minuts apart. Few minutes after 9 I felt a strong contraction and this time it was like 3minutes apart na so I use speed take comot for house. So my DH drove me to the hospital of about 30minuts drive then the contraction was becoming often and stronger. Got to the hospital around 10am I was checked and the midwife said I was almost fully dilated and said I should lye on my side before I knew it I started having the urge to push so I called the midwife and she checked me again and said I was fully dilated and that I should push at the next contraction and that was how my prince was born with a single long push at exactly 10.45am. Labour was less than 3hrs and that was how it was with my first child. GODISEVERFAITHFUL
