modath: That Firefire guy behaves too much like a flattie for my comfort. Let's remember that Yoruba is a universal language, not everyone who speaks it understands the Yoruba struggle and want the Yoruba interest. I understand why you're into politics, but I'm wondering if there's a way to narrow down that interest to a regional level. It would do us good to not wait for federal government to help and to put the heat on Yoruba politicians when need be. Is the bold an insult to me?  1 Like 1 Share |

Greetings, As you know, we struggle in America despite the tall tales of loose prosperity living in the U.S is expensive. As far as African Americans it has been a trial and fight to develop economically. Most of all the Black rich here, are forbidden to invest in Black causes and African civilization. Yes sure Bill Cosby has over $400 billion in the bank but he can't go into the impoverished areas and lift them up. These cards are tied to celebrity and many rich African Americans bank accounts which allows Illuminati monitoring of their purchases and withdrawals. They can spend thrift as they like, luxury items, fancy homes and cars, but can't invest in any Black Civilization building activities. And the few who rich Blacks who do, do so with soft causes pre-approved and not aimed at economic development of African Americans or Africa as a whole. African Americans gross over $1 trillion dollars per year and yet there are not trillionaires amongst us. Also very few African Americans billionaires, the few on the list barely are at 1 billion. Sango is under no delusion as 55 billionaires on the African continent very few of them invest in uplifting their poor brethren. I have concluded that the poor must uplift themselves, which is why I have promoted. Yet I have proposed these funds being entrusted to traditional sources as my loyalty is to the resurgence of traditional paradigm of Africa, because its a much better system for ruling and meeting the needs of the people, history has proven it. We must utilize self determination, practice restraint and save our funds. I have suggest African Americans or Diaspora to invest household, $15.00 U.S dollars per month, sending that funds to our traditional leadership at Oyotunji African Village Kingdom and the Gullah Gee Chee Nation. These I've found to be the most legitimate Black Nationalists organization that were not started by Freemasons, Jesuits, Jews and covert forces. Many of the other Black Nationalists organizations have non-African origins. Yet Africans on the continent can afford to save $1.25 U.S dollars per month, and the great thing is they can do it in the millions. I have very serious doubts that many African Americans are conscious, willing to take responsibility for their improvement, my best guess, 100,000 a little more. Seeing there are somewhere between 400,000 and 500,000 Gullah Gee Chee people, taking in account 4-5 per household, that would give about 100,000 people. Also another few thousands of Oyotunji citizens, some not living in the village, due to economic struggle, stemming from targeting of them, they probably are about 50,000 members, counting men, women and children. So all in counted in approximately about 144,000 possible donors. Africans in Yorubaland number in the millions so millions can be raised in one month giving $1.25 U.S dollars per day or $248.79, based upon current exchanges. You see, I've given it some great thought, this project is doable. I have calculated Benin Republic, 595.06 CFA per month by the Yorubas in Porto Novo and the surrounding area. They are wanting us in America to invest in machines, tools and heavy equipment, which we can easily afford via group economics. We must graduate our level of thinking into international trade and commerce, competing with other nations around the world for economic zenith. Also we can send our youth, who are greatly unemployed, many of our craftsman and union workers, who are also greatly unemployed. We can start an international food corporation. The great thing is that this is Yoruba land. With the backing of the Obas, who are cousins to our King, His Royal Majesty Oba Adefunmi II, who inherited the throne of his father. superstar1: Concessionaire seeks N150bn to complete Lagos-Ibadan Expressway The private sector investor currently in charge of the redevelopment of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway is looking for around N150bn to complete the 127.6-kilometre project. Paucity of funds is said to have hindered further work on the road, but our correspondents gathered that the new investor, Motorway Assets Limited, was in the final stages of negotiation with lenders to raise between N120bn and N150bn for the second tranche of funds to complete the project. The Federal Government had provided the initial N50bn in the first tranche by appropriating N25bn each in the 2013 and 2014 budgets following the revocation of the initial concession agreement with Bi-Courtney Highway Services. Our correspondents also gathered that the management of Motorway Assets Limited would meet with the potential financiers of the project on Friday to fine-tune the details of funding arrangement and other aspects of the project. The reconstruction of the busiest highway in the country into 10 lanes was initially projected to cost N167bn, but the Managing Director, The Bank of Infrastructure, Mr. Adekunle Oyinloye, told one of our correspondents in a telephone interview on Monday that the project cost was likely to rise now because of the redesign of the road to accommodate new features. According to him, the new set of consultants coming into the project are currently redesigning the road because the initial design was not comprehensive and did not take into account some peculiar factors. Oyinloye said though the initial design made provision for a flyover to take vehicular traffic to the Redemption Camp of the Redeemed Christian Church of God along the expressway, the consultants were looking at the sites of other religious bodies along the road and how best to solve the gridlock usually associated with the road anytime they had a programme. He noted that other key features of the new design were the provision of 24-hour emergency and rescue services on the road, an engineering solution to the Mowe/Ibafo area where human activities were currently taking place almost in the centre of the road, and other facilities such as truck parts that would make the highway to be of international standard. The TIB boss said, “The seeming lack of activities on the road is as a result of the new arrangement. The road is now a Public-Private Partnership project, which has a process and structure. About 75 per cent of the process is documentation; if we don’t get that right, the entire project will become a problem. “Motorway Assets Limited has been given consideration for the project. The Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission has to give the concession certificate; while the lenders and investors have to ensure that all the details are properly worked out. We have now got all the relevant approvals.” Oyinloye, who said the TIB was just a facilitator of the project, noted that what had been done on the road so far was early work, adding that upon the conclusion of the funding arrangement, the reconstruction would move at a higher pace. Contrary to insinuation that the government of President Muhammadu Buhari might not be comfortable with the details of the project as approved by the administration of the former President Goodluck Jonathan, the TIB managing director said the new administration was happy with the project, especially the fact that the private sector would provide the bulk of the funding in view of dwindling government revenue occasioned by falling crude oil prices. Our correspondents further gathered that the project would now be executed on a Build, Operate and Transfer basis, but that the details were still being worked on. The Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, the oldest and busiest inter-state route in Nigeria, is a major artery connecting Lagos to other states of the federation. Musiwa419: I pity those who have to go to work through that road, closing hours will be horrible considering how bad both sides of the road are and the attendant traffic it generates. I was going to link my bvn at the EcoBank branch in MFM premises and I saw mad traffic. Would state of emergency bar or bring an end to the nuisance created by members of both churches and Nasfat along that road every end of the month? And these churches won't deem it fit to fix the portion of the road around their churches which can be said to have been damaged as a result of the traffic they cause. They should be forced to either limit the population of attendees per month or cancel the monthly converge all together. It is improper to make life difficult for others because of religion which should be a personal business.
