How u rooted it, because we use sp flash tool to root our own and we are scared of updating in case of hard brick. We are have been advised to unroot it and flash the stock ROM via sp flash tool before we update it. So we are surprise that u updated it without unrooting it.

Pls guys, I switched off my tecno c8, then it started showing 'Experience Smartlife Now' every 3 secs, when I press the power n vol+ or - buttons it slows down to once in every 7secs)(i.e it doesn't respond to any command), although I took it to carlcare n they repaired it, but what makes me scared is that it has happened twice since oct3

That is a white lie. lf ur phone is rooted d update will not install and ur phone will partially brick to recovery mode it will not pass there ur phone will be stuck. So if ur phone is rooted do not install d update. Am talking from experience after i rooted my phone i update it and try to install d update and my phone got brick to recovery mode. So i try to download the stock rom from one link unknown to me dat d stock rom i downloaded is for tecno droid pad. i flash d stock rom into d phone true sp flash tool and d phone went dead finally for three days. The fouth day i was able to get the real stock rom for tecno c8 on net and i flash again and the phone came back to life. i now updated it and root again. Am happy that through dis phone have learn alot.

Lol, you may have back up the stock ROM via twrp immediately after you rooted the phone. Please drop the link to the C8 stock ROM.

Guys stop worrying ur self's......just root ur phone download ram manager pro 8.0.2 the memory booster. Combine these two apps Nd ur OK. If u want u can even add Xposed installer to the mix and change the phone entirely. Its all left to u. Power to the People, f**k iPhone .

Download the stock ROM (1gb), flash it through sp flash tool.
