If you really want this update
Cos it does not really Worth it even the app lock option does not prevent the app from closing if you are not rooted

Back up your important files to sd card
Use backup and restore app for contact, messages, and applications

Then, flash ur phone to factory Stock rom the 1.0GB zip file on previous page
Using using Sp flash tool..
Update the two updates one after the other..

Don't do otherwise. U might brick to twrp recovery only..

U have nothing to fear of, even if you brick it, u can always flash stock ROM.
Now follow my steps:
Use SuperSu.apk to unroot( settings> full unroot)
Whether u back up ROM through twrp or not, continue.
Back up your useful files to your SD card, remove it and your sim card
Swithch off your phone
Open your flash tool, upload the scatter file of the stock ROM( it will tick all)
Click download
Connect your phone through USB
After successful icon
Remove and switch on.

Don't even try that.
You don't need the backed up ROM
You only need the stock ROM (1.07gb) u downloaded

Please guys, something unusual happened to my C8. After rooting, and installing Ram manager pro for like 2 days now, I got a popup on my phone saying Super User binary needs to be updated and after clicking, it will just roll for like 3 minutes and then ask me to reboot. When it comes on again, the same message pops up and then reboots again and again.

I decided to check if I'm still rooted by using the root checker app and I found out I was no longer rooted.

Any help in the house would be gladly appreciated. Thank you all in advance.

for us that rooted our fones ...u think we were happy while doing it....we had no choice..so many anomalies with d fone and rooting + appropriate apps is d only hope!

Once you load scatter file and all the options are ticked, untick preloader because it is not necessary to flash preloader. Moreover it is very dangerous if anything goes wrong. If an error occurs while flashing with preloader ticked, you could lose your phone forever because the preloader is what ensures connection with computer even when phone is off. Once anything goes wrong with that sector, it's bye bye forever to your phone.

Don't mind him , maybe that was his thought .

Found a solution. To those who are curious about how I did it, I mistakenly uninstalled king root app (Cos I felt it could conflict with the superuser app)... So all I did was reinstall kingroot app and my phone is now rooted again and works fine now.
