Come and praise the Lord with me, after 7years of childlessness, we were blessed with a baby girl yesterday 12/12/15 weighing 2.8kg via emergency CS. Recovery is quite painful but when I see my daughter, I tell myself it's worth every pain. BS later.

I was to be scheduled for an elective cs on 17/12/15 but on 11/12/15 ,I started losing my mucus plug in bits and having mild contractions. So on 12/12/15, I went to the hospital and because of my history, doctor decided to bring baby out that day. I was given a spinal and baby was brought out but the doc also noticed something with my intestine, a part had ruptured and faeces was pouring in me. I ended up staying in the theatre for extra 3hrs and requiring an additional general anaesthetia because the spinal had worn off. I was stiched up and wheeled to the ward but recovery has been difficult and painful. 3days post-op, I haven't been allowed to eat or even take liquid, I had to give my baby formula cos I haven't started lactating but in all , I give glory to God because when I look at my baby, I tell myself she is worth all the pains I am experiencing. I don't know when we will be discharged but will keep you all posted. Duty calls.

Last time doc tried to check my cervix she could not find/reach it. my tummy feels very lumpy as well. They saying m gonna b a cs. How was ur pregnancy experience. Congrats once again.

So d doc instructed they prepare me for augmentation around 3pm. Na so they passed oxytocin drip. I that was gisting whenever the contractions leave me started shouting the hospital down, hitting the wall and ..... (u can imagine). The contractions became the most painful thing of my life. Then the doc (thank God it's female) came to poke for the 3rd time and i hrd them say operculum. She had brought out the 'show' from her second poking. Water had still not broken o.
My MIL continued rubbing my back. Hubby went home to cook &bring food. I kept on shouting the hospital down &ofcourse praying (when i remember to).

Then i felt this hot bag of water break and the urge to poo poo. MIL quickly called the nurses and i was wheeled to the labour room

uhmmmm.... That was 2 years ago. Reading back and smiling.

Now he is 2 years old today.
We thank God for everything.

Hafsat24....Catwalking is allowed but don't do shakara and leave your baby home while u catwalked to the hospital alone.....Does nurses will just finish u with mouth like dey did me.

Meanwhile you won't berivit....Laid Mofe to sleep last night on his tummy at about 8:30pm and he slept till like 1:20am peacefully....Mehnnnn for the first time in many nights I got a well deserved sleep + other midnight collaboration
