I agree. It's N208/$1 on Amazon but try purchasing something and see how much u are charged. I bought the $300 Gift card and GTB charged me at a rate of N250/$1. The Naira equivalent displayed on amazon.com isn't what you end up paying. I heard some banks actually allow u pay the exact amount on amazon.com but GTB is worse than the devil right now. So for anyone in my "bank shoes" but need to make a purchase on amazon... N239/$1 is a give-away.

The collection rate is still 200 for western union. At 215, the person is still making some gains.

I was charged N546 for just $1.95 yesterday just to link their card with my PayPal account by access bank which means it was over N280/dollar as at yesterday, while same day gtb charged N270. Although i made a cancellation of that payment just like Mr Ymodulus i cannot jonz.
