Tell me why an important Bridge like Niger Bridge is still one lane

Tell me Lagos Ibadan dual carriage express way
Kano Maiduguri express dual carriage express way are being reconstructed ( dat of Kano Maiguri already done)

While Enugu Onistha express way is in total bad condition

K tell me why

The Natural resources in the South East has Alwayz been given cold feet

Coal, gas deposit, crude etc

In my village in Enugu u can't walk a 200 meter radius without seeing one cemented slap marked NNPC

I ONCE encountered some engineers making anodr slap, I asked them what is it for, nd he said dey re reserves.

Dat dey re reserves are not d problem but d facts that Federal Govt do a lot of work to hide these Oil fields both from Nigeria and International.

ANAMBRA state alone is seating on a massive gas reserve but instead of to site Nigeria LNG plant in ANAMBRA dey moved it across Niger bridge.

Is it when oil becomes worthless that dey start exploring these place, yet dey send Billions of dollars looking fr Oil in barren North.

Check all the Federal Infrastructure in the South East, they re all decayed

It took hell nd fire to get us International Airport yet dey can't even take care of it

What will it take to transform port harcourt Sea Port to Major Commodity Port?
Dey won't cos it will give a much needed life line to people of South East and render Lagos Useless since it's Closer and more viable than Lagos.

When I Mean Marginalized, I mean from MILITARY RULE TO PDP TO APC

my Opinion though

Ask your PDP that has had the last 16 years to transform the east and did not despite you guys giving it over 90% of your votes continously instead of coming to rant here.

I thought you dont need the govt cc: asorocker

And by voting pdp in the last election, you have shown that you are ok with all these. If pdp didnt fix your problems for 16 years despite the high price of oil, is it APC whose tenure is less than a year old that you expect to fix everything for you?

I understand, but the iboes have never been agressive like this as if APC is the cause of their wahala.

Igbos may not be marginalized from your assumptions but Southeast as a region is maginalized development-wise.

How about a centenary city in Enugu or Owerri for a start?

Igbos are not asking for N5000 every month for any category of its people far from it rather a federal presence in form of partial administrative or commercial or investment headquarters.

Going by your definition of marginalisation, can you kindly mention one region of Nigeria which is not equally marginalised?

Enough of all these silly talk of marginalisation only existing in the SE. This is one way in which Igbos continue to spite other regions by claiming we are the only ones suffering lack of government presence even when it is clear that EVERY OTHER REGION suffers the same government inadequacy.

Southeast was bombed and leveled to stone-age during the civil war and an agreement for reconstruction was signed in 1970 by FG and it is still being awaited till today.

Northeast is being terrorized by bokoharam and many of their infrastructures destroyed, the government just borrowed $2.1 billion from world bank for its reconstruction even before the war has ended. Consequently, committee has just been setup for its realization.

Instead of rebuilding Southeast after the civil war, Abuja was built in the North while the Third Mainland Bridge, the National Theatre, the international airport, and so on, were built in the West.

Now tell me when the reconstruction and rehabilitation of Southeast will commence as signed by FG in 1970 after the war.

Can u tell me why Port harcourt cannot be a commodity port

It was b4 d war, but dey refused to lift d Embargo after d war
Dat lead to d decay, but if enough dredging and infrastructural repairs is done on ds port
It can boost d economy of both SS nd SE and also decongest Lagos
But

It's people like you that get it wrong. Igbos have never said that they're the only one being marginalized but they're speaking for themselves. As much as Nigerians irrespective of tribe are marginalized, that of Igbos is on another level. You can keep denying it to yourself all you want but the truth is there to see.

It's only reasonable for you to stop claiming that you are the only one being marginalised even when you know deep down that it is a lie. It is even more silly to accuse someone who suffers from a similar problem as you do of being responsible for your problems.

Your agreement that other regions are also marginalised further gives credence to the question asked by Buhari, "who is marginalising the Igbos?"
What we have is a leadership deficiency problem which is a GENERAL Nigerian problem and not isolated to Igbos; you can keep deceiving yourself by using the word 'marginalisation' freely.
