Goke7: Please educate yourself. A man is innocent until proven guilty! Please repeat that 7 times so it sinks into your head. That is one of the tenets of democracy and justice. So I dont need to justify him. He is justified in the eyes of the law until proven guilty. I will bash GMB and his government because they are failing as far as justice is concerned. They are breaking the laws they have sworn to uphold. This your post is just sentiments. Please argue on facts 15 Likes |

snailspeed:Novermber 18, 2015.... "Embattled Former National Security Adviser (NSA) Sambo Dasuki has said all contracts on arms purchase and payments where done with the approval of former President Goodluck Jonathan..." www.dailytrust.com.ng/news/general/arms-contracts-payments-endorsed-by-ex-president-jonathan-dasuki/120239.html Sambo released a statement himself and you are talking bumkum.. Dedember 14, 2015... Sambo Speaking "I also noted the statement of Sagir Bafarawa whose company is Dalhatu Investment which he stated that he received the sum of N4,633,000,000 from the account of the Office of the NSA. I authorised the payment . The money was for vehicles, motorcycles for youth empowerment and women sent to Saudi Arabia. I got the proposal from the President. I do not have the proposal; it should be at the office in the Villa " https://www.today.ng/news/national/51484/arms-deal-ex-nsa-dasuki-indicts-jonathan-says-he-acted-on-his-instruction The so-called names confirmed receipt of money, and you say he didn't mention names? Perhaps it was his ancestors that released those statements. Metuh did not admit receiving money from arms deal. Metuh said he was giving an assignment. How does that imply he admitted he shared arm deal money of $2.2B? You see how you guys have been spinning your falsehood and propaganda? GEJ has said clearly that there was no $2.2B arms deal signed anywhere. So your propaganda is what it is; propaganda!Metuh confirmed receiving N400m from ONSA for special assignment, EFCC said the N400m was meant for arms purchase. And you are here arguing bumkum? Abeg I don tire for you...shiiiiiift 4 Likes |

ddippset: It doesn't matter where the money came from, the fact remains that monies approved for government procurement of military hardware, security and national defence was disbursed for private party (PDP) activity. The crime still remains, unless it can be proven that the said monies was provided to the ONSA by PDP from it's private purse. Dasuki broke the law and no matter how the OP tries to dress this pig it would still be a big fat smelly PIG 1 Like |

Some people can be so funny in defending the indefensible. Let us assume from your write up that the money was meant for security vote, what then is security vote meant for? Is security vote meant for sharing with political allies? When you include security votes in your budget, it implies the money should be use for any uprising including purchase of arms to quell insurgency and not for distribution among PDP. 4 Likes 2 Shares |

sweetgala: I will patiently keep educating you lot. The total money mentioned is allocation to his office. He has a right to disburse it. It isnt moey to buy arms as alledged by the EFCC and the media propaganda. So he has not committed any crime yet except it is proven that the items he disbursed them for were illegal. But you can hardly prove that if it comes under the security vote. 11 Likes |

I detest pdp for their financial proclivities, ogboni domination, and most disgusting of all, poor propaganda machinery. APC has outsmarted pdp in propaganda dissemination and media manipulation. It is terribly appalling that the party has not been able to go toe to toe with the presidency, crafting and churning out facts to magnify several holes which are inherent in the Dasuki scandal. Besides, barcanista is now apc and he should be expelled accordingly! 4 Likes |

[quote author=TonyeBarcanista post=41934128] No Sir! The $2.2 billion wasn't for "security vote" as you claim. It was an extra-budgetary amount that the FG set aside for arms purchase. It is different from the $1billion that the FG borrowed in 2014 for same purpose and other budgeted expenses. The so-called $300million returned Abacha loot forms part of the $2.2 billion extra budgeted for arms purchase. They aren't for "Security vote". Even the authorisation by Jonathan said arms purchase. Sambo Dasuki didn't deny that. In fact, he said that Jonathan approved the $2.2billion for the purpose. N/B: The arms purchase $2.2billion is different from the appropriated monies by the NASS. Allow the people invoved to defend themselves. It isn't propaganda Sir! [/quote All of the stiff you mentioned, were from EFCC OR DSS. We need to hear from horses mouth in court 4 Likes |

I can never be one of those who are easily fooled by the deceit of this government. 2.1 billion USD was never allocated or approved for arms purchase. This was exactly what GEJ said but some people who don't seem to think or who pretend not to do so for reasons best known to them, are accusing him of lying. Think about this: Long before the elections, the media was awash with accusations of missing 50 billion/10 billion/20 billion USD first started by the emir. However, almost one year of PMB government, nothing has been said about it. Instead, the noise is about 'security vote' which presidents and governors usually spent according to their discretion. Finally, let me clarify that I will never support corruption by any means. However, I would like all present and former governors of the AD, ACN, CPC and APC to tell Nigerians how they spent or are spending their monthly 'security votes' 9 Likes 1 Share |

snailspeed: Yes no one was caught red-handed but all of them have confessed to collect money and the amount from the ONSA, please what else do you want? A video showing them sneaking to CBN vault stealing money? Financial officers from the ONSA have confirmed going to the CBN to collect huge amount of $$$ on the instruction of the NSA, even documents were presented. A lot of laws were broken, even the money laundering act was broken by withdrawing such a huge amount of cash. This is the reason people keep asking for the CBN governor too to be invited for questioning. http://therainbowonline.net/47m-withdrawn-cbn-delivered-dasuki-11-suitcases-director-finance/ 1 Like

snailspeed: What of the $1Bln Approved by the Senate for buying arms? Was that also part of the Security Vote of the NSA? By the way, when did the NSA become the Head of an Executive arm that the office was now entitled to Security Votes? You are just trying to be clever by half, nothing more. 2 Likes |
